A heel announcer was some next level, outside the box thinking from WWE but because it was always at the expense of the IWC's golden boy, it was universally hated. A heel announcer was some next level, outside the box thinking from WWE but because it was always at the expense of the IWC's golden boy, it was universally hated. As mentioned, Heel Michael Cole was good in sort bursts and to point out the silliness we were all exposed to when watching NXT. MC being a douche and tuning out the product was fine here-and-there, but when its became a big taking a dump on the ENTIRE PRESENTATION for the majority of the show- it became distracting. It was Hennan levels of amusing, it was like a drunk buddy trying to be funny/insightful while tearing down one of your favorite shows during the season finale.
