WWE said they've found no wrong doing with Bill Demott.

 

ROH has stripped Jay Briscoe of the World Title and is bringing back some old names for the tournament, like Brian Kendrick, London, Karl Anderson....

 

WWE has officially opened their new training center.

 

Maria Kanellis has got a huge rage boner for the Bella's.

Oh, and didn't Muta reveal he's starting his own company? I don't follow puro as close as I used to, but that could be a big deal.

This is what happens when you give a dude a stupid name and then try to bring him back like he never existed. You shit the bed, now you have to lay in it.

They are not shitting on the gimmick. They just want the whole world to know they are smart and know things.

What sucks is that the same fans seemed to be reacting to and enjoying the gimmick a minute before. It's not like it was a reaction of "stop trying to push these new guys down our throats." Everyone seemed to be fully into the creepy hillbilly thing, but then just couldn't suppress the need to show how smart they were for recognizing the guy.

 

It could be fixed pretty easily by having Wyatt cut a promo next week acknowledging his NXT stint and spinning it as the WWE trying to turn him into something he wasn't and now he's allowed his true self to emerge.

The weird thing about it is the crowd at first seemed to be into the Wyatt Family. They got a decent pop when they first appeared. And then all of the sudden the crowd were like, "Fuck this. Let's try to show how funny we are!"

 

And they weren't funny at all.

Favourite thing about the Wyatt Family's RAW debut was the entrance, in darkness apart from a lantern lighting their way.

They are not shitting on the gimmick. They just want the whole world to know they are smart and know things.

Smart fans are the stupidest fans.

Yeah I didn't mean shitting on it in terms of not liking it. Because if the crowd don't like something they can chant their displeasure all they like. But when they're showing everyone how clever they are it may come across to vince or whoever that the fans don't buy the gimmick. That's when the act gets pushed down the card and eventually dropped or become the new member of tons of funk.

I kind of missed the rzombie notes about superstars/main event/nxt/sms. I don't actually follow that stuff well so just having a listing of what happened quickly and the quick comments if something stood out helped.

 

Wasn't there a Dolph/Cesaro match on Main Event this week or last? Was that good?

The fans who chanted "Husky" at Wyatt aren't smart. They just remembered who his old character was. Who gives a crap if he had a previous name for the six weeks he was on Raw three years ago? So what he had a dumb name? They've more than fixed that problem and have developed the best new character in years. I've been a huge Bray fan since FCW (and was a Husky fan, too). His NXT stuff has been amazing. His Raw build-up was arguably the best build-up for a new character they've ever done. His debut was absolutely epic -- the video promo ("WAKE UP!") was an all-time great. The darkness with the lantern emerging was awesome. The attack was great. It was an A+ segment.

 

Fans who are actually smart recognized that. Supposedly, at least according to Stroud, a "That Was Awesome" chant broke out when they stretchered Kane. The nitwits chanting "Husky" are dumb dumbs.

On another note, I could totally see how Bray took ownership of that property. I bet he or Luke Harper's aunt lived there. She ended up with dementia or something. They started living there to "care" for her. She's now in some crawlspace while Bray cashes her disability check at the local payday loan spot on her behalf.

And Kane comes by once a week to have a go at her, but he stopped coming by which is why they targeted him.
