I guess this is the last run of Tenryu and even though he is near totally immobile it's still fun to watch him. He busts out a Northern Chop in tribute to Baba, drops into a Fujiwara armbar, and does a Ricky Morton rolling tag and the koppo kick despite said immobility. You can tell he was really having a good time in there even though it hurt like shit for him to get in the ring and do anything. Also: Akebono falling on fools. I got the biggest grin watching him punch young karate guy in the mouth. Really fun match all told though. bobholly138 Posted May 4, 2015 Share Posted May 4, 2015 Liberty Mississippi is a town of barely 700 people. But every May they have a free wrestling show at their Heritage Days Festival. Each year Powerslam Productions puts on the show. So with their normal camera man graduating to ref,myself and another fan have taken over the recording of shows. The Powerslam Heavyweight title has been jumping around recently. The last weekend in April Calvin Rose lost the title to Blade Beaudreaux. Joe just recently returned to Powerslam. And this was his first match since coming back. So we got a rare face vs face match in Powerslam. Blade was fairly over with the kids. Where as the adults seemed to like Joe a bit more. A few seconds later some kids in the crowd start screaming at us. So I get up and see a puddle of blood pooling around Apoc's head. The promoter rushed over,called over the medics. And you can see Apoc get up,he headed out the back door. After the show he had two black eyes and his nose was swollen. Last night ,in a match I posted earlier,he returned to Brookhaven and got a huge reaction. Steve Anthony is the guy who beat Liger for the NWA Jr belt at the NWA show during Cauliflower Alley Club in Vegas.He is working a extended tour of Japan. Bate is absolutely a star in the making, only just 18 and he wrestles like a mix of Simon Gotch and Cesaro.
