Was there live. A few reactions.

-Mizdow was legit one of the most over things on this show.

-Ziggler was huge all night. There were a bunch of signs for him and shirts and random chants for him in some of the first matches.

-The crowd was unglued during Ambrose/Wyatt, despite what some are claiming in this thread. It was an amazing match. The only thing they became deflated at was that the ladder wasn't used. He should have tipped it over onto that pile of wood, steel, and fat.

-All matches besides the main event and Wyatt/Ambrose were pretty uneventful.

-The Bella/AJ matches confused people.

-Ziggler is fucking over!

-The place became unglued for Sting, obviously.

-Sting's Titantron looks just like Wyatt's for the first few seconds. We all thought it was Bray until his face was shown. That should probably change.

The weirdest thing was the Orton situation. They were literally selling special edition shirts that showed Randy Orton giving an RKO in front of the St. Louis Arch and the front of the shirt said "From outta no where!" and the back says "St. Louis gets RKO'd - November 23 2014". I guess they changed plans because of Sting, but those shirts were bizarre. There were chants for him all night. People were standing up looking for him to run out of the crowd during the opening (which is when they shoulda done it) and again during the main event.

Does anyone have anything thoughts on that Reigns interview? It was weird. He looked comfortable but the content made him seem like he was trying to hard to be some sort of bad ass.

I hope Barrett is right about being in charge. Him dinging people over the head with his gavel for disagreeing with him would be awesome.

I continue to be underwhelmed by anything and everything to do with Roman Reigns since the Shield's break-up.

Could see him as Smackdown GM, but I imagine the new authority figure on Raw is gonna be the fellow who came on at the end of the show.

Dolph's comeback is up there as one of my favorite Survivor Series performances. The only one I think I enjoyed more was Bam Bam Bigelow beating King Kong Bundy and the One Man Gang before being pinned by Andre.

I think those were the acting lessons he has been taking.  It was odd to hear him speaking with a personality.

That divas tag was so bad, they felt out ignored it to talk about Lawler's Survivor Series history. The three morons are usually terrible, but they balantly refused to to give a fuck about that match.

I think the commentary made it horrible.  If you tuned out the announcers they had throwbacks to some NXT stuff (Emma-Paige), Kidd drawing heat at the expense of his wife, and Naomi/Cameron.  Summer Rae was good as a slimy heel.

It was odd that the faces went over so fast but it was not that bad.

It was awful. He comes across like such a scripted packaged character instead of an authentic person that it ruins any interest I have in him. You can almost see the Mad Libs boilerplate they used: "Mention St. Louis for the Cheap Pop (which actually failed hilariously), incite the crowd to make noise (when they were all headed to the bathroom), then use some cuss words to seem like "cool."

The more I see of Roman, the more I'm comfortable with my opinion he's going to end up being the Samoan Sheamus - although because they are so enamored with him, he'll be pushed like the Samoan John Cena for the immediate future.

The first Ryback/Rusev confrontation and the first Harper/Rowan confrontation both got big reactions. But man, who did Ryback piss off?

What was the reaction of the fans around you during the Divas match?

You're a weird dude.

They really could have used either an NXT elimination match or one with some of the midcard guys that don't get a lot of time to fill in some of the gaps.  It would have been a hell of a lot better than the bunny match.

Nothing wrong with giving the divas match more time, but they could have at least done something less anti-climactic.

Ambrose/Wyatt was what it was.  Solid match that just served as a segue to the next one in their program.

Ziggler was going fucking gangbusters in the main event.  If he had managed to win clean-ish then it would have been something to really put him on top.  I kept waiting for Orton to come out and interfere on his behalf, but that not happening didn't bother me, especially considering I really loathe Orton.  I also kept expecting Reigns to come out at some point.  Let's see how long it is before Big show gets fed up with the authority and turns face again.

I've never really cared about Sting that much either way and have never found him to be a great wrestler or really awful, but someone who was completely carryable depending on the opponents and what other dynamics were involved in the match.  The whole segment was well booked, but I'm still pretty indifferent to him since I've never been a fan.  That said, I understand what a mark out moment it is for people who like him and also understand why his fans want to see him have a proper, non-TNA sendoff.  However, I'm not sure how realistic a lot of people are about how capable he is in delivering.  I don't follow TNA, so when was the last time he actually worked a match and was in the ring for a decent amount of time?  At this point he'd likely be better than Austin or Foley attempting to wrestle again, but I'd rather see him just doing special appearances or playing special teams like he did tonight than trying to work an actual match and just looking terrible.

You can see Roman's path to WM.  Cena loses to Lesnar at the RR and Reigns wins the RR with a controversy.  EC settles it and Reigns beats Lesnar causing Rollins to cash in the MITB.

Then again with Ziggler's push tonight who knows.

How dare you sully the name of Sheamus like that. Sheamus gets a lot of shit for being a terrible character actor, but he is top in the company when it comes down to being a fucking walking tall babyface.

Yeah, the womens elimination match was really good if you watched it on mute and ignored Cameron/Summer Rae's involvement.

Did Reigns call St. Louis "The Loo"? because that's not a thing.  I mean, it's a thing in England.  It's where you poo.  And I think it's a thing around the Diamond-Phillips' household and you probably are better off not knowing what it means there.

It's like calling San Francisco "Frisco" but worse because that's actually a thing people have done.

I don't like him much anymore.

Sting is smart enough of a worker to know what he can and can't do at his age and because of the years he didn't work has got to be in better shape than his contemporaries. Or at least less deteriorated.

And if they're basing a lot of what they're going to do on mystique that's fine for the short run he'll likely have.

Sorry, old man, Nelly made "The Lou" into a thing 10 years ago. How have you never heard it?

All I could think during that finishing stretch was these are the same spots Dolph and Rollins ran through in their meaningless midcard matches on tv all year.

Piranesi also thinks Apple Bottoms refers to how said fruit sits in a bowl on your kitchen table. :D

I don't know about any of that, but I just googled image searched those words and...I'm going to need some "Lana time."
