Pete Posted July 29, 2013 Author Posted July 29, 2013 AWWWWWW IT'S HIS FIRST HALLOWEEN! ISN'T HE PRECIOUS?
cool arrow Posted July 29, 2013 Posted July 29, 2013 Jerry Lawler has a lot of old, weird pictures on his site. There was one (that apparently isn't there anymore) of Viscera in full costume with the contacts and everything, but with the biggest, most sincere smile on his face. Wish I could find that one again... EDIT: In trying to find the aforementioned pic, I found this one.
cool arrow Posted July 30, 2013 Posted July 30, 2013 Man, Brock always looks freakish, but I'd forgotten how shredded he was back then.
Ace Posted July 30, 2013 Posted July 30, 2013 Brock was SO great in this bit. Trying to choke Gowen out so he wouldn't feel it. So delightfully psycho
cool arrow Posted July 30, 2013 Posted July 30, 2013 "NWA bans box?" "Roman Gladiator rules?" It was a simpler time. 1
Pete Posted July 30, 2013 Author Posted July 30, 2013 ISTR the Roman Gladiator match was basically a Texas Death Match combined with Bullrope/chain match rules, i.e. you fought until one guy couldn't continue, then you had to drag him to all four corners to finally win.
cool arrow Posted July 30, 2013 Posted July 30, 2013 That actually sounds pretty cool, particularly since you just know there was juice involved. It just seemed... unfortunate to have two innuendoes (pardon the expression) so close together.
Stevie Ray Von Erich Posted July 30, 2013 Posted July 30, 2013 I think this is from 2007, but that blue logo is throwing me off. Edit: NEVERMIND, A QUICK TRIP TO THE JAPAN FOLDER REVEALS THIS IS FROM TODAY! SO WEIRD! Seriously: http://www.impactwrestling.com/news/item/4904-Japanese-legend-The-Great-Muta-meets-with-Jeff-Jarrett-and-TNA-Officials-in-Nashville They did meet in 07 though.
Pete Posted July 30, 2013 Author Posted July 30, 2013 I think this is from 2007, but that blue logo is throwing me off. It's new. Muta's in town to discuss TNA working with his WRESTLE-1 group. 1
Ace Posted July 30, 2013 Posted July 30, 2013 It's a pity Scott Steiner and TNA are on the outs. I'd kill to see a build-up and match between Steiner and Hama.
Playa Shunna Ver 3.0 Posted July 30, 2013 Posted July 30, 2013 That would be fantastic. He has come to return the shining wizard to everyone in TNA's moveset!!!
cool arrow Posted July 31, 2013 Posted July 31, 2013 Gordman & Calhoun seem like a pretty random pairing to me, but otherwise it sounds like a good card. 1
hammerva Posted July 31, 2013 Posted July 31, 2013 Rick Rude > you. It bears repeating. Damn even Jerry Lawler looks at that and goes "aren't they a little young for you Rick" 1
piranesi Posted July 31, 2013 Posted July 31, 2013 The one on the far left is Geddy Lee, right? You'd think he'd be more of a Hart Foundation guy. 4
cool arrow Posted July 31, 2013 Posted July 31, 2013 The one on the far left is Geddy Lee, right? You'd think he'd be more of a Hart Foundation guy. That's not exactly Being a Star, now is it? And I'm probably going to hell for laughing.
BrianS81177 Posted July 31, 2013 Posted July 31, 2013 It's a pity Scott Steiner and TNA are on the outs. I'd kill to see a build-up and match between Steiner and Hama. Like BPP would work with Hama. He'd flat out refuse. And you know why? 2
