BEN!
Virgil looks so out of place on Piper's team now. Can't think of anyone that ever fell from being in a high profile program to becoming a job guy faster than Virgil. And Warlord just looked cool. He looked cooler with the paint but then he got a staff with a 'W' on it. Not just anybody can get away with carrying around a staff with a 'W' on it. Not Warrior, not Wendi Richter, not Wade Barrett. Maybe Wahoo McDaniel and William Regal could've. Wally Karbo would've seemed like a competent authority figure if he had a staff with a 'W' on it. Domino_Not_Deuce
It's going to be great when Hogan comes back for one final run and he's Co-GM with Brad Maddox. "I've booked a table for you and Brooke, brother!" then Brad's dickie bow twirls as he looks into the camera.
damnnearfonzie
I was a Ha-HUGE WARLORD mark too. Shame he never had a singles title...
rzombie1988
No, it's not. He couldn't work. I can't recall one good Warlord match.
cool arrow
Warlord had a Texas death match against Sam Houston (of all people) in November '86 that must've been a sight to behold.

Death From Above
Someone really should have got a metal helmet like that one Warlord pic when hardcore matches were a thing.
Victator
No, it's not. He couldn't work. I can't recall one good Warlord match. Good matches with Demolition. In particular their debut as faces in Philly. Him and Barbarian were great squash match guys in the NWA. Matches with Bulldog in 91 were good.
Matt D
i love the survivor series 90 segment with Marty and Warlord. Also he was having good matches with Bulldog by the end of their run but they wrestled for a better part of the year so it's not REALLY fair.
offspring515
In ring work didn't mean squat to me when I was 9. Warlord was huge, looked like he could rip someone's head off with his bare hands, and he had the aforementioned W staff along with his awesome metal half mask.
cool arrow
Warlord was in a couple great random WAR trios, first with Jericho and Vampiro, and then with Backlund and Scott Putski.
Victator
Warlord had a lot of suplexes and stuff. That was the surprising thing from watching him in the NWA. I still wonder how he broke Animal's orbital bone with a Samoan Drop.
Territorial
Warlord had a lot of suplexes and stuff. That was the surprising thing from watching him in the NWA. I still wonder how he broke Animal's orbital bone with a Samoan Drop. Warlord landed awkwardly, putting his weight on Animal's head.
MGFanJay
Warlord's outfit reminds me of the time in ATHF where Master Shake says WHAT'S THE D STAND FOR!? IT STANDS FOR DRACULA! THE D STANDS FOR DRACULA! That whole Hogan gallery is fantastic - I'm definitely going to save every photo from it at some point.
