Kuetsar Posted September 10, 2014 Posted September 10, 2014 Just saw the Stephen A. video. . . I have no words. . .
E.J. Posted September 10, 2014 Posted September 10, 2014 If this were any other organization, Goodell would have been gone yesterday.
odessasteps Posted September 10, 2014 Posted September 10, 2014 John Mara backed Goodell. We can stop talking about him being fired now.
evilwaldo Posted September 10, 2014 Posted September 10, 2014 Stephen A. is the 2nd biggest problem with sports today. When he opens his mouth the words that come out just make you shake your head. The biggest problem is ESPN themselves. They keep rolling Stephen A. out there and in the same breath come down on the Redskins for their name. On one hand they keep employed a guy who spouts garbage about women defending domestic violence and on the other hand attack the name Redskins for being racially insensitive.
Vincey Greene Posted September 10, 2014 Posted September 10, 2014 Goodell will be fine unless the owners get the sense he's bad for business. The second that feeling is the consensus, he's finished. Period. 1
muhammedboehm Posted September 10, 2014 Posted September 10, 2014 And both Jones and Kraft have to side with the commish or look like hypocrites based on recent stories about both. (jones and the pictures with random bloneds, Kraft and the bimbo actress girlfriend)
Dolfan in NYC Posted September 10, 2014 Posted September 10, 2014 Uh oh. The Associated PressVerified account@AP BREAKING: AP Source: Law enforcement official sent copy of Ray Rice tape to NFL executive in April
Niners Fan in CT Posted September 10, 2014 Posted September 10, 2014 AP Report: Law enforcement official sent copy of video to NFL executive in April. Fuck Goodell.
odessasteps Posted September 10, 2014 Posted September 10, 2014 Roger still has plausible deniability.
evilwaldo Posted September 10, 2014 Posted September 10, 2014 They just filed it next to the Spygate tapes that is why it was so hard to find. 1
odessasteps Posted September 10, 2014 Posted September 10, 2014 They just filed it next to the Spygate tapes that is why it was so hard to find. Right next to Rosebud and the Ark of the Covenant 2
Burgundy LaRue Posted September 10, 2014 Posted September 10, 2014 The tape was crushed in the same car compactor as Jimmy Hoffa--DUH.

hammerva Posted September 10, 2014 Author Posted September 10, 2014 So right now the only thing that Goddell can hang his miserable little head on is that yes the NFL got the video but HE never saw it. That not only makes him incompetent it makes useless as a boss. So is Goddell the NFL's version of Frank Tunney If we have learned anything from today it is no matter how stupid or terrible New Jersey cops do at their jobs, don't fuck with them 1
E.J. Posted September 10, 2014 Posted September 10, 2014 “We have no knowledge of this,” Greg Aiello, an N.F.L. spokesman, said. “We are not aware of anyone in our office who possessed or saw the video before it was made public on Monday. We will look into it.” Also, it looks like Rice spit on his wife once before entering the elevator and in the elevator which is when Janay lunged at him. This guy is something else.

That not only makes him incompetent it makes useless as a boss. So is Goddell the NFL's version of Frank Tunney If we have learned anything from today it is no matter how stupid or terrible New Jersey cops do at their jobs, don't fuck with them Note that in his interview with Nora O'Donnell, Goodell said that he wasn't aware of anyone in the NFL offices had seen the video. That he didn't knowingly disregard it. Which means he had an idea that someone in his ranks had their hands on the video at some point, but he and no one else bothered to do anything about it. All this for a good-but-not-great player whose name Goodell won't even remember 10 years from now. It defies logic.

I thought she spit at/on him. Also NFL is turning into Iran/Contra.
hammerva Posted September 10, 2014 Author Posted September 10, 2014 It is really hard to tell but if you look at the video before they got in the elevator, Rice makes a move with his head and she gets pissed and shoves him.
RIPPA Posted September 10, 2014 Posted September 10, 2014 I feel a little bad quoting myself from Twitter but. At least we know that Goodell is totally qualified to be the next President of FIFA
