Jacob's impersonation of Robert Gibson might be the greatest thing he's ever done.

 

I'm trying to remember, wasn't someone else supposed to be in Al's place.  I wanna say Gilbert (who died) or Billy Black (who flaked out).

Not sure about Billy Black, but Eddie Gilbert worked as Unabomb's original tag partner before flaking out and heading to Puerto Rico.

Black was in the territory around the same time (give or take a month) but wasn't involved with the angle at all.

 

I'll always remember their SMW run just for the one Australian guy at the ECW Con that summer who couldn't pronounce the name right and kept calling him "Unabum."

Even crazier, bumping into that guy at the ECW show at the Orange County Fairgrounds.

HA! I'd forgotten about that. And from that point on, he (the Aussie kid) would be known eternally as Unabum...
