DreamBroken Posted June 28, 2014 Posted June 28, 2014 *Taped for Xplosion: The Wolves def. The BroMans TNA Impact Wrestling - Airing August 14, 2014 from New York City *Bully Ray came out to a big reaction for a promo. Bully says he kept his promise and put Dixie through a table. Bully brings out Devon and says he was the one person he couldn't have done it without. Devon says Dixie is gone so now it's time to get down to business. Team 3D thank everyone for the Hall of Fame induction until they are interrupted by the Hardyz. Matt says this is the first time in 12 years that they are in a ring together and congratulates them on the HOF induction. They go over their history together and Bully says it sounds like the fans want one more match so they set it up for tonight's main event. *Lashley, MVP, & Kenny King def. Austin Aries, Eric Young, & Bobby Roode when Lashley pinned Aries with the Spear after MVP used his crutch. *EC3, Rhino, & Rockstar Spud came out. Spud asked for a moment of silence for Dixie. EC3 complained about the crowd celebrating and demanded that Bully be terminated. Kurt Angle comes out and says they are in NYC not Nashville and they are wasting time so either wrestle or get out. EC3 refuses to wrestle and demands Bully be fired. Angle warned them to wrestle or get out but they refused so Angle brought out the NYPD and had them arrested. Spud tried to claim diplomatic immunity. The cops handcuffed Rhino & Spud. EC3 tried to pay them off but the cops threw the money down and handcuffed him too. The cops escorted all three out of the building. *Mr. Anderson def. Gunner via DQ when Samuel Shaw attacked Anderson. *Abyss came out for a promo and said Bram has something that belongs to him so he called him out. Bram & Magnus came out with Janice. Bram says he's beaten Abyss twice with Janice and it drives him wild to drive her into his chest. Abyss asks if he really wants to get extreme. Abyss challenges Bram to a match with tables, tacks, fire, and barbed wire with Janice hanging above the ring. Abyss says he will get Janice and shred Bram with her. Magnus talked until Abyss attacked them and tried to get Janice back but he got hit from behind and they stole Janice again. Abyss declared that it will be Stairway to Janice and he will show them what a bitch Janice can be. *Low Ki def. Manik, Tigre Uno, Crazzy Steve, DJ Zema, & Homicide in an X Division Scramble match via Ki Krusher on Homicide. *Team 3D def. The Hardyz. After the match, both teams embraced and celebrated to end the show. Afterwards, Team 3D called out the Wolves and may have been teasing something for BFG between them.

cool arrow Posted June 29, 2014 Posted June 29, 2014 It means "We're not PG! We do JOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOCE~!"
MGFanJay Posted August 15, 2014 Posted August 15, 2014 I loved the opening stuff because it was short and sweet. Bully and the Hardys reminding everyone of what they didn't back in the day wasn't just a great plug for the WWE Network (available for only $9.99) but also came off like Al Bundy reminding everyone of the four touchdowns he scored (not just in a whole season, one game!). X division scramble was a bunch of stuff. Team Dixie's skit mid-ring was hilarious. I loved EC3 saying he'll build a house in the building to avoid leaving, followed by cops actually looking like cops coming out to arrest them. Their arresting bits were funny and let to THE FIRST MENTION OF TNA MOVING TO WEDNESDAY NIGHTS, in about 2 seconds. Gunner-Anderson was a nothing match, but amusing due to the KENNEDY chant, the fans singing Adam Rose's theme, and going OLE OLE OLE. So TNA's roster is really knocking them dead. LOL @ them showing a JR tweet and then blurring his face. 6-man tag was fun, largely due to the Lashley-Aries stuff. The second plug for Impact on Wednesday nights was about as quick as the first - this change is doomed. Speaking of doomed, this Abyss-Bram feud can fuck off. 3D-Hardys got really good after the break - doomsday whisper in the wind was crazy, and the parade of highlights made me want to have this match in No Mercy...like I did in 2000. They couldn't have done a worse job hyping up the Wednesday move either - the rating is doomed for this month's big Impact show. http://jayreviewsthings.blogspot.com/2014/08/tna-impact-wrestling-8-14-14.html Screens - http://www.imagebam.com/gallery/nvw3vvq097dz72k5sq6z298ed2nf395r
Jamal Posted August 15, 2014 Posted August 15, 2014 I enjoyed the four way match. Liked that the women were able to turn the crowd who initially seemed pretty apathetic to them. 1
Hollywood Cibernetico Posted August 15, 2014 Posted August 15, 2014 Bram needs to pull a Seth Rollins. Storm, Bram, and Gunner all look the same.
Tim Evans Posted August 15, 2014 Posted August 15, 2014 Was Bully wearing a Dudley boys shirt? The camera kept jump cutting to make sure it didn't show the back of the shirt but it looked like a WWE shirt. I can't believe Abyss walks worse than Mick Foley. Bram is about as bad as Anderson who might be the worst wrestler on the planet not named Eva Marie.
MGFanJay Posted August 15, 2014 Posted August 15, 2014 I thought that too until I went through my screens. Bully put a giant TEAM silver patch over the Dudleys part, while Devon put a yellow patch over the Dudley part of his tanktop.
Biz Smarkie Posted August 15, 2014 Posted August 15, 2014 Spud and EC3 are totally being wasted on this shithouse of a show. I kinda expected a 999 chant from the NY crowd during the opening segment. I still love Low Ki being our connection to the planet of the apes
DreamBroken Posted August 15, 2014 Author Posted August 15, 2014 Hardyz/3D ruled. Loved the Whisper in the Wind doomsday device and Jeff's awesome over the top rope Poetry in Motion dive, great angle on that. Knockouts 4 way was quick but pretty good, always enjoy Taryn in the ring. Ki/Homicide exchange was pretty good as well.
APO Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 This Abyss/Brits feud is never going to end, is it? The 4-way was pretty decent when Velvet wasn't involved. Her terribleness is like a blight on everything else. Duds/Hardyz was damn good except for Devon kicking out of the Twist of Fate/Swanton combo. Wish the 6-man could've gotten a bit more time as it seemed like it was just getting into gear when it ended. EC3 and Spud are easily the best act in the company and it's not even close. This stuff with Storm and Sanada is... bizarre, but interesting.
CanadianChris Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 So, it looks like the table spot keeps Dixie off TV for one week? And she's back this week for an interview with Tenay?
