Death From Above Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 Toronto starting to get healthy and they suddenly look like a very good team again.
Death From Above Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 So this doesn't really fit in any exact thread, but in the CIS Canadian college football, the Calgary Dinos have been made to forfeit a win over the U of Alberta Golden Bears for academic ineligibility violations. The game has been changed from a 71-3 Calgary win to, officially, a 1-0 Golden Bears win. To put the Golden Bears in some perspective for those that don't know, they (legit) won a game just last week. It was the program's first win since 2010. Big season in Edmonton college football.
Dewar Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 Hopefully Calgary forfeits enough games so they miss the playoffs, and gives someone else in Canada West a shot at winning the league.
Dewar Posted October 4, 2014 Posted October 4, 2014 Uninspired, dogshit performance by the Bombers tonight. Dumb playcalls, inability to stop a pathetic running attack, and turnovers. Put a fork in them, they are done. 1
Death From Above Posted October 4, 2014 Posted October 4, 2014 Redblacks sawing a log every time they score a touchdown at home is my favourite thing about their team.
cubbymark Posted October 11, 2014 Posted October 11, 2014 Quite the choke job by the Tiger-Cats this evening. And a very sloppy game to boot.
Death From Above Posted October 11, 2014 Posted October 11, 2014 Last two games in the Skydome have been real penalty fests. Hamilton had no business losing that one. At least the east has gotten more competitive as the year has gone on, thankfully.
Serious Darius Bagfelt Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 Wow that was 2 Thanksgiving "Classics" I could have missed out on today
DEAN Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 Wow that was 2 Thanksgiving "Classics" I could have missed out on today CROMPTONMANIA, DADDY~!
Death From Above Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 Between the Saskatchewan game and the first half of the Winnipeg game, Edmonton went on a 64-0 run at home there.
Dewar Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 That was a cold, cold, cold night in Winnipeg. I can't believe we are getting 6 pm start times in October so TSN can air a fucking meaningless MLS game between Toronto and Montreal at noon.

Death From Above Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 Hard to believe Edmonton won only 4 games last year with pretty much the same core of players and will now be hosting a playoff game. Chris Jones is never going to win many popularity contests with other teams but he's done a hell of a job for a rookie head coach overall. John White is the best running back I've seen in Edmonton in a long time.
