goodhelmet Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 Ok, just watched the commercial again. You can clearly tell it is Hulk at the beginning (which I missed). When he is lifting something in the middle, I didn't think it was him. Also, Congratulation Seahawk fans!!!! I hate the Broncos with a passion. I hate John Elway, I hate Peyton Manning and I hate that they have ever had any success. Thank you for making me smile today.
hammerva Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 Poor Malcolm Smith. Nobody knew who he was before the game except hardcore Seahawk fans. He wins the MVP after a great game and his press conference is interrupted by a fucking 9/11 truther http://deadspin.com/9-11-truther-invades-malcolm-smiths-super-bowl-postgam-1514655135 Great security there
Fat Spanish Waiter Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 Amazing to think that Riverboat Ron got COTY over Carroll. That's how you use a defense. That's how you play hard without breaking the rules.
goodhelmet Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 Pretty sure those were all stand-ins. What do you mean stand ins? With the exception of Teen Wolf, I think the actual humans were all legit. My man Pancharelli was for real.
piranesi Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 I don't think that was the real Jason Vorhees. But I'm pretty sure Alf was legit the real alien from Melmac. 2
hammerva Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 What is the story behind that huge scar on Pete Carroll's face. Actually his whole eye looks it got punched in the face
TimLivingston Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 So this is the Super Bowl set to JR calling the action. http://deadspin.com/watch-your-super-bowl-highlights-as-narrated-by-j-r-1514625138
Burgundy LaRue Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 Pretty sure those were all stand-ins. What do you mean stand ins? With the exception of Teen Wolf, I think the actual humans were all legit. My man Pancharelli was for real. They looked like impostors/look-a-likes to me. But I could be wrong.
Niners Fan in CT Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 So here's the Super Bowl commercial that FOX refuses to play. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mR-tbOxlhvE 3
goodhelmet Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 I enjoyed every second of that. Had no idea JR was a Broncos fan.
Burgundy LaRue Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 Holy. Shit. That ad is a drop the mic moment if I ever saw one. Very powerful. 2
goodhelmet Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 So here's the Super Bowl commercial that FOX refuses to play. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mR-tbOxlhvE This was awesome. Loved how they played that Scientology commercial though. I almost signed my family up after the commercial. My buddy had to deprogram me with some beer before I went to the website. 1
piranesi Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 Holy. Shit. That ad is a drop the mic moment if I ever saw one. Peace Pipe Bomb! Is hell this way? Which door? I'll just let myself in, thank you. 1
Zac_Fu Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 Is Depp voicing that? It sounds like his finest Tonto.
Charlie M. Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 It'd be only the start of him making up for that fucking movie. 1
Hoffman Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 I can only imagine what would have been had Joe Namath not botched the coin flip and the Broncos won the toss.Actually, I imagine the final score would have been 41-7 instead of 43-8.
Brian Fowler Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 Denver always chooses to take the ball when they win the toss anyway.
The Erotic Terrorist Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 Aaaaaaand I've just spent the last 20 minutes in an internet rabbit hole about a bagel place in Delray Beach that apparently "Brooklynizes" their water and how it may or may not be a scam. Yeah, that sounds like typical South Florida to me. I've been there a good amount of times and more than once I've wondered if I was on a different planet when I was in South Florida. Enough about favre. More talk about katie nolan in leather pants. Damn I can get behind that.. oh wait that is not the best phrase to use. But I do agree that was a great visual. Plus, her cutting a promo on Rick Reilly on her FS1 show was tremendous. Just remember, the Jags took a punter 3 spots ahead of the Hawks taking Wilson. Indeed. Thank goodness for Jacksonville they have new and presumably better management. I for one enjoy Bruno Mars and his modern Sam Cooke routine. This halftime show is fucking great. I was fine with the halftime show too. I can't tolerate most modern pop music but Bruno is fine with me. I was out and I was not able to do any Internetting while watching the game. I am flabbergasted it turned out the way it did but the Seahawks did a great job. Catching up on the thread was an amusing time. References to both G.D. Spradlin and Dan O'Herlihy made me happy.
BrianS81177 Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 And with this, Pete Carroll is now going to be the king of Seattle. Dude could shoot santa dead in front of a room full of small kids and Seattle people would forgive him, cuz SUPERBOWL! This town's starved for a winner. 1

James F'n X Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 I'm just gonna bask for a bit. Just for a bit. Wednesday's gonna be one of the best days of my sporting fan life, and then, much like Pete Carroll and Company, preparing for Super Bowl XLIX begins. I did not expect that beatdown to take place tonight, but I loved every minute of it, outside of the goonery from both sides after the game became a laugher. The better team won, and there's really nothing anyone can say about it. Go Hawks. 1
Ryan Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 #Investigate911 is trending, so I guess we failed as a species again. 1

You can tell when you see the screen caps people did.
Jerry Hattrick Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 One of the better parts of the night, that we may have forgotten, was Floyd Mayweather losing $10 Million on a bet for Denver. Hey, his money, but lol. 1
goodhelmet Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 Guy on Fox Sports Radio yesterday said that was a myth.
