January 16, 201412 yr I tuned in during Romero/Brunson, so I ask, how were the prelims until the flyweight fights? Anything I should go back and watch?
January 16, 201412 yr Author He probably needs to haul ass immediately to a bigger gym. That's the only way he'll stay in the UFC.
January 16, 201412 yr Author He's never looked that apprehensive though. Part of that is the fact no one looks good against Brad Tavares. But I think training down at some random gym in Riverside is definitely not helping. At least go back to Team Quest in Temecula.
January 16, 201412 yr Very skippable show, if it wasn't mid-week. Rockhold looked good, and the soccer kick to the body follow-up was beautiful.
January 16, 201412 yr Skippable show, but it's a free midweek card. Didn't mind watching it. Great finish by Rockhold. Cole Miller claiming he was a top 10 fighter was funny. But hey maybe it will work and he'll sneak into the rankings next week. Still it was one of his better performances since he moved down. The referee in the Yoel Romero fight was embarrassing. He yelled last warning and then proceeded to give about 20 more warnings.
January 16, 201412 yr Miller is basically on a 4 fight streak (lost to Manny. but after some bullshit, where Manny was basically knocked out and they gave him time to recover. Still one of the weirdest things ever.) I don't seem him beating anybody in the top 5 really, but guy knows how to have a good post-fight interview

January 16, 201412 yr I would say watch the main card. They replay the only prelim worth watching as I recall. Prelim card wasn't worth watching otherwise.
