Josh Mann Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 The Pats game is a dead lock. Everything else, God knows.
Shadow Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 49ers fans, I'm up for a name bet. Who's up for it?
sabremike Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 You were right. You were always right. No matter how hard I cheered or as long as I suffered, the machine (and the incompetence of Marvin Lewis and Andy Daulton) will never let the Bengals win a playoff game. Bray, I am yours (cue creepy music).
Josh Mann Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 This is a game that New England doesn't typically lose. Since 2001, they've been in this spot (home after a playoff bye) seven times and won six of them. Also, Indy's defense isn't good enough to win a game like this.
Stennick Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 I think we're looking at a NE vs. San Fran Super Bowl. A few years ago when Singletary got fired because they won like five games I looked at that team which is damn near the same team that they have now. Crabtree, Gore, one of the best defenses, and I couldn't figure out how this team wasn't accidentally winning 10 games a season. Seattle is only 3-2 during the last month of the season. There isn't a team in the AFC that will stop New England. Should be a fun Super Bowl. 1
Vincey Greene Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 I think Carolina squeaks it out, again. Crabtree is fairly overrated. He's a good WR and nothing more. I'd have to see them run well against our defense to believe it. I also think Cam is flat out better than Kaepernick. We shall see. 1
Joe Lucia Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 Not sure if I posted this year, but while a Panthers-Chargers Super Bowl wouldn't move the dial too much from a casual fan perspective, I think it would be incredibly fun.
bink_winkleman Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 Distractions piling up in Carolina thanks to the Nature Boy's betrayal.
Niners Fan in CT Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 I'd like to know how Crabtree is overrated. In what way? You know, he did just come back and all of a sudden the offense can move the ball through the again. Its no accident. He has great hands and is a good YAC receiver. Carolina will be tough. I expect a defensive struggle all the way. As for the pats.. what makes them unbeatable?
Fat Spanish Waiter Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 Carolina are a fraud. Cam is a huge liability against a real defence like San Fran. IMO they come out strong, and then the 49ers kill them off.
bink_winkleman Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 SF is going to embarrass Carolina. Cam is better than Kap, but Kap has a monumentally better offense right now.
RonL21 Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 I'd like to know how Crabtree is overrated. In what way? You know, he did just come back and all of a sudden the offense can move the ball through the again. Its no accident. He has great hands and is a good YAC receiver. Plus, he always finds a way to get open in third down situations. No excuse why the Niners still have trouble scoring inside the 10. The 49ers figure that out, no one will beat them.
Fat Spanish Waiter Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 SF is going to embarrass Carolina. Cam is better than Kap, but Kap has a monumentally better offense right now. Kap is better than Cam IMO, tremendous at making the right play rather than the big one.
JRGoldman Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 Distractions piling up in Carolina thanks to the Nature Boy's betrayal. It would be pretty awesome if the Panthers brought in Sting to help them get over being betrayed by Naitch.
TimLivingston Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 Panthers can't bring in a guy like Sting. It has to be Hogan.
RonL21 Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 The Colts have signed Deion Branch. The best part of the NFL playoffs is the fact that players can still get signed pretty much off the street. http://espn.go.com/nfl/playoffs/2013/story/_/id/10252482/2013-nfl-playoffs-indianapolis-colts-agree-deion-branch
Kuetsar Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 Panthers can't bring in a guy like Sting. It has to be Hogan. Maybe Vader? He did play football after all. . .Its Panther TIME(echo).
Tabe Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 Panthers can't bring in a guy like Sting. It has to be Hogan. Panthers need to bring in Sting, only to beat him down and have Flair show up for the real pre-game. 2
Josh Mann Posted January 7, 2014 Posted January 7, 2014 Distractions piling up in Carolina thanks to the Nature Boy's betrayal. It wasn't enough that Being Naitch cost him four marriages, financial solvency and 90% of his professional legacy. Now it's taken away his city. 1
Brian Fowler Posted January 7, 2014 Posted January 7, 2014 It's amazing to me that some of the Panthers seem to be legitimately hurt by Flair doing that pre-game speech. Give me one Monsoon: WOOOOOOO
Ryan Posted January 7, 2014 Posted January 7, 2014 Pay him enough money and he'll do a pep talk for them next.
bink_winkleman Posted January 7, 2014 Posted January 7, 2014 It really just makes me wish Harbaugh was involved in wrestling. Paying off Flair was some diabolical shit. I love how much the Panthers have been getting asked about it.
