It was almost to the point where people thought E was going to announce he was cleared. One of them got injured not long after but it was still enough time for them to follow up. That was one the biggest signs to me that Hunter isn’t as good of a booker as people thought he was. You wasted a the breakout of one the biggest faction that people thought would never split and not have any real direction. People use the Oddessy Jones release but I don’t think so 2

Would have been fine even if the changes happened to suck. The failure to even make an attempt is what is so wrong. 1

I think the MCMG are so smooth and so good, they get taken for granted. I don't think Alex Shelley's best work has ever been in TNA, but ROH. If I had to point to one MCMG match, it would be against Steen & Generico from Death Before Dishonor in 2008. It was supposed to be a face vs. face match, but the NYC crowd was so behind Steenerico, that the MCMG realized that and turned heel mid-match. 3 1

Snow storms happen. Rings break. Anything can fucking happen. Most of the job is taking chicken shit and trying to make chicken salad. Sometimes you just try to take who is available and make a coherent show out of it to get thru the night. And that is just for weekly Indy shows in front of 150 people. That's why I can always appreciate when a booker can have multiple irons in the fire all at once, where they can pivot when needed. If you set up A,B, and C to fight D, and A gets hurt, you can pivot to B or C. When you put everything I to A vs B, and B gets hurt.... 10

I know Cary was ready to get rid of Gabe by then but I was loving MCMG, AotF ,Briscoe. Go Shiozaki and Shingo doing shots. Steen chasing the title. I haven't gone back and watched any Ring of Honor since but I like to go back and watch shows from that era from 2004 to June or July of 2008 2
