So, they're doing this at Louis Armstrong Stadium in bucolic Flushing Meadows Park.  You know, right before he died, Louis played a two week set in a jazz club in Manhattan.  As soon as the last show ended, he had a heart attack.    I don't know if that's a metaphor or not.

Looking forward to the annual Anarchy in the Arena match and Kazuchika Okada vs. Konosuke Takeshita the most.

Figure Darby Allin vs. MJF for Allin's AEW World Championship. Allin said MJF has to put something on the line as well, I think the stipulation will be if MJF loses, he can no longer challenge for the AEW World Championship ever again. We know MJF's a liar and would renege on his word.

Upgraded my myAEW.com deal for the annual version (20e per month) so I will be watching Double or Nothing and the next ROH PPV. I guess I should cancel my Honor Club subscription, then? Real quick, name 3 classic ROH shows I should watch before I do that! Mostly interested in the Davey Richards vs Davey Richards in a Davey Richards on a pole inside a steel Davey Richards match. Thanks!

First Stadium Stampede match since All In 2023. I hope that doesn't mean we won't be getting Anarchy in the Arena. No stopping Tony Khan doing both. Anarchy in the Arena has been an annual yearly tradition on this show since 2022.

I guess you could do both, but then one or the other would have to go first, right? But I mean Jericho likes to open the show, so that would probably work? Who else hates the Demand more than they hate Jericho? Both teams need two more guys, right?

I don’t remember the show name but CM Punk and Jimmy Rave had a dog collar match that was great in like 04 or 05 probably. The Death Before Dishonor show with Jeff Hardy is really good outside of Jeff Hardy’s match

EDiT - the dog collar match was at the first Manhatt Mayhem which had a wild Joe/Lethal vs Homicide/Lowki main too.

Manhattan Mayhem 2005.

The 100th Show 2006.

Death Before Dishonour 2006.

You really need to see the Samoa Joe vs. CM Punk 2004 trilogy: World Title Classic 2004, Joe vs. Punk II and All Star Extravaganza II.

Alex Shelly and Jimmy Jacob’s have an I Quit match at Joe va Punk II and it’s fantastic but gets overshadowed by the main event

Anarchy in the Arena is now Ricochet (and I assume GoA) and members of the Don Callis family, versus Jericho, Jack Perry, Bucks, and Omega

Plus, also announced the ladies' title match is Thekla vs Stat vs Shida vs Hayter

Can’t say I’m loving the face side, and I’m calling another failed Jack Perry turn/push right now

It sounded like it’s going to be Jericho/Hurts/Elite vs Demand/Callis Family based on Perry‘s promo specifically saying Jericho and the Hurts “needed two partners, well how about four”. It’s not like the Callis Family doesn’t have 327 members to make the match 7 on 7.

No Anarchy in the Arena this year, a Double or Nothing tradition from 2022-2025.

Stadium Stampede: 2020-2021 both at Double or Nothing. 2023 at All In. 2026 at Double or Nothing.

Samoa Joe vs. Will Ospreay on this show in the Men's Owen Hart tournament. Two reactions: Fuck, I'm going to have to watch a Will Ospreay match whom I can't stand because I love Samoa Joe. Sucks Joe will jobbing to him.

If there's a Stadium Stampede at DoN, does that mean there won't be one at All In?

Damn, that's one helluva show!  Can't wait to head to Queens to see it live.  Last time I went there for the first Grand Slam I made it a day trip and turned right on a sidewalk which led me to a Latino area (which was great!).  This time I'll turn left where it's a Chinese area (not sure if it's Chinatown) and heard the food there is amazing.  Between that and the show it's gonna be a good day.

The TBAs were A last night. The Don Callis Family is just sending Davis and Andrade; the two healthy Dogs have been thrown in as well.

Which is a bummer to me because I'd prefer some more DCF guys. Cage & Hechicero. Fletcher & Wardlow. El Clon & Archer. Trent & Rocky. Literally any of them over them dull ass Dogs lol

OH tournament bracketology feels a bit too light for my liking. I'd have preferred there had been some qualifying matches for the slots.

Couldn't happen to a nicer fella, @NikoBaltimore. Road Report, please and thank you. Love you, mate.
