She HATED Holmgren when he was at Gonzaga, constantly ripping him for his sour face and any other randomly perceived negative thing. It's tough to criticize a young guy who averages 18/9 while playing good defense but, man, Chet was just not there at all against the Spurs. You just can't disappear like he did in Game 7 without people rightfully questioning everything about you as a player.

Dolfan in NYC Posted June 3 Posted June 3 Apparently the Heat have an offer on the table for Giannis which boils down to Tyler Herro, Kel'el Ware, and a couple of 1's for Giannis, role players, and pick swaps to even it out. The Bucks will make a decision after the Finals.
Sex Machine Gun Posted June 4 Posted June 4 The Rockets are one of the few examples of simplified graphics that actually work. It more than works really, it's fantastic. I see a lot of nostalgia for the logos of the 90s/early 2000s and wonder why when they're so busy and fussy and have been improved since. NBA teams for the most part did a great job with making their new logos superior.
Dolfan in NYC Posted June 4 Posted June 4 This is the part where Lurch should say due to the circumstances Miami gets an extra first rounder, or because the Hornets knew Miami gets their first rounder, or at the very least, because the league already knew, Miami gets an extra 26 mil on the cap this season. Both the league and the Hornets knew that Rozier was under investigation and the Heat did not. If I was the Heat, I would have sued the league already.

I like the triangle. They did the actual redesign and submitted it all before they won the 94 title. They actually tried to back out of the redesign and new unis, but the NBA had already started making the merchandise to be ready for the roll out and basically told them they would have to buy every shirt, hat, foam finger and whatever the hell else that had been manufactured to do it.

Just killed the Sixers. Every time I watch an old Lakers game I'm always surprised at how good Kareem is. His name should be mentioned every single time we talk about the best players of all time. The difference between Jordan, LeBron, and Kareem is essentially whatever you value.

I have him third, mostly because LeBron has taken over two of his absolute best arguments for GOAT with the scoring title and longevity. His list was Russell, Wilt, Kareem, Magic, Bird, MJ, Timmy and LeBron. Though at this point he's gonna need to do a new version or additional follow-up up on James because those videos were like six years ago and the dude still averaged 21-6-7 this year, and stepped it up to 23-7-7 for the playoffs.

To be fair, that is the correct top 8, and like you said, where you rank them has way more to do with personal preference than anything else. The recently revealed blocks numbers for Wilt definitely has me reassessing him lately.
