DreamBroken Posted April 12 Author Posted April 12 Nice opener from Leon vs Cedric. I figure Leon's definitely going to break Aries' longest X title reign record. Kazarian/Elijah was solid. Enjoyed Moose and Agent 0 throwing bombs, a little surprised to see Agent 0 go over there. the Hardcore Country match was a fun plunder match with comedy. Nemeth/Francis was a blast. "Cleveland wins!" Nemeth had some great near falls earlier on, thought the avalanche Danger Zone would be it. Bernie was great in his role. I dig seeing EC3 back, looking like his old self with his classic theme. 9 years since he left but his previous run remains his absolute best. Not sure about turning Xia Brookside. Had a feeling it may happen but was hoping it would not be the case. Disappointed that Trey lost the international title so quick. Had a feeling the Hardys going in beat up from Impact would end up costing them. Sad to see the Moose/Alisha partnership end as expected too. Main event itself was pretty good. Pete Posted April 16 Posted April 16 Meltz: Quote Nic Nemeth pinned AJ Francis in 14:23. Francis showed off his “LeBron 2s” for the crowd and put himself over as “the LeBron James of professional wrestling.” Francis is the sixth guy now to try and get heel heat by knocking Cleveland. Nemeth is usually a heel, but he’s getting a great babyface reaction since he’s from Cleveland and he brought out the greatest quarterback in the history of the Browns. I feel like Otto Graham working TNA angles should be a bigger story than it was. 1
