"Permanently"?

DO SHELTERS NOT EXIST?! Are they the undead as well?

Also, the issue in NYC is they're not so much unhoused as they take shelter in parks and near the closest transit stations. This is opposed to rural areas where he's mostly wrestled where being unhoused is a huge issue especially in the heat and rainy season.

I swear if someone starts doing a Zombie Boogie Woogie Man gimmick now, I will watch at least one match.

would Boogie Woogie Man Jimmy Valiant have technically been a hobo at various times in his life? a hobo being a migrant worker who travels and is willing to work

at the very least, Valiant might be the most hobo-ish wrestler who just travels from town to town but might not technically have a home

It's more legit than when he claimed to be a Vietnam veteran.

Given the rumors flying around, here is a little gedankenspiel for the crowd: You have been recruited as an agent for a shadowy organization and been issued a gun and a time machine.  Your mission is to travel through time protecting the legacies of artists by shooting them in the head before they have the chance to ruin them (e.g. you dome Robert DeNiro before he starts making family comedies).    It's understood you'll probably miss some good stuff, but your goal is leaving them with the best possible overall ouevre.

The first name on your list is Chris Jericho.  When are you going and why?

I don't actually have an answer for this one because I feel like the 'right' answer happened when I wasn't watching wrestling.

There are people who committed mass genocides and fronted cults, but The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle was just a step too far.

...Can't I just shoot him in the knee, or just have a very effective conversation with him?

If one convinced him that the Blood & Guts match against the BCC & Kingston & friends was the perfect capper for his career and he didn't run the barbwire match with Kingston a month later that'd probably be a rather good time to have "the talk" with him.

Jericho should've retired to the booth after dropping the AEW belt to Mox

Jericho still has a lot to offer, but not on an every week basis. If he is willing to be a "legend-in-residence" ala Sting, things will be fine. If he is on TV every week and sucking the heat out if the room, it ain't gonna work.

So with that said, Jericho's "gauntlet" MJF made him go thru where he had the matches with Gage and Juvi should've been the end of the line for him as a full time guy.

I think, at the very minimum, it has to be before the Painmaker.  You just can't keep that.

Martel is a level of tan previously thought unthinkable by mankind.

Jericho had a bit of a comeback in 2022, so probably after that

That’s saying something in late 80s WWF.

Hogan would take a kielbasa to the beach as a color reference.  "Brother Bruti, we're not leaving until I'm Hillshire Farms level of tan, jack!  Now pass the Banana Boat, dude."

My equivalent of Room 101 which got me thinking, what would be yours? Will Ospreay and The Young Bucks would be up there as well.

case in point

Andy’s actual hometown would make for a solid wrestler hometown.

Great Neck, New York in Nassau County.

Drew McIntyre comments on CM Punk’s dog Larry.

“When Larry was gone my heart broke for Punk and AJ. That's one thing I'll never make fun of Punk for."

Drew McIntyre was clearly very emotional and spoke on the recent passing of his pet cat Chaz.

(Chris Van Vilet)

Losing a pet hurts so much. Pets are family. Love and miss all the ones I've had. Condolences to Drew McIntyre.

The people who attended WM17 and thought Vince was turning face when he helped Austin makes me think that someone accidentally turning face would be fun and maybe not done often enough.

Like either a bunch of surprised reactions from the wrestler as he does heel stuff but gets cheered. Which isn’t what they’re doing with Christian now (Christian being a heel who still does heelish stuff but is cheered since he’s aligned with Copeland)

i know he had a bit of a renaissance in 2008ish, but being that i had quit watching WWE by that time, my preference would be that when he left WWE in 2005 he never returned to pro wrestling in any kind of permanent role.

Jericho peaking in 1998 is kinda sad. He's the wrestling version of Al Bundy and his 1998 run is roughly equivalent to scoring four touchdowns for Polk High.

I guess the one upside of not getting a 1998 Jericho video from the Vault is that they would have to work around the fact that they can't/don't use his Evenflow knockoff music
