The Natural Posted April 1 Posted April 1 (edited) When I see PAC with the short hair and beard, he's reminds me of Jimmy Hill when Jimmy was younger and General Zod in Superman II played by Terence Stamp. Is it just me? Edited April 1 by The Natural 1 4

Is it just me? I don't know who Jimmy Hill is, but regarding Zod - that might be just you, yeah. Though if Ospreay were to turn heel and start demanding that Tony Khan kneel before Ospreay, I'd be down with it. Edited April 1 by tbarrie
Craig H Posted April 1 Posted April 1 Man, I really miss Full Gear Pac. At least with the stringy, Bret Hart Wet hair, and short tights he looked cool. His current gear is like FOP hall indy wrestler/what Vince would put a heavier set person in, which makes me think Vince was so intimidated by Joe to never attempt that shit with him.

I can see the Stamp-as-Zod resemblance with PAC, yeah. 1

It seems to be pretty clearly an ode to the early Dynamite Kid look, and I think he's rocking it beautifully. It's a traditional and crisp look with a simple design and colors. Not exactly a thrown together or ill fitting outfit. The poorly presented Indy Wrestler would have bad Fire designs on it, a horrible looking font of their name, and silly white or color clashing boots. Even if it's unlikely, I do love thinking about McMahon cowering from big Joe. 1

The Natural Posted April 2 Posted April 2 "You're not having to mortgage your first house or sell off your first child" - Kenny Omega explains how AEW is different from WWE: "We're sort of like the alternative. We're not quite WWE, and we're not an indie either. We're just kind of AEW. What we try to be is the most fun live show that you can watch available to you. "I do think that for family friendly shows - mostly family friendly - ticket prices absolutely friendly. And we never skimp on the content. You'll always get a ton of wrestling for your money value. "I even think we're getting a double taping in Winnipeg. So you are getting a whole heck of a lot of AEW, and you're not having to mortgage your first house or sell off your first child. "And that's not a knock on any other promotion or anything, it's just that if you want to check out a television product, see yourself on TV, have fun, see what makes AEW so special, you can do it and you can do it at an affordable price. "I'm just really glad that if there's any interest whatsoever, whether it be because you're a die hard AEW fan, or you just wanna go out and check out a night of wrestling and do something fun with the family or friends, I'm glad that there's price point options available for all walks of life. That's one thing that I'm very proud of with AEW." (CBC News Manitoba) --- One of AEW's biggest attributes. 4

Jimmy Hill is a former English footballer or soccer to you Americans who had a lot of roles in the game over here. I see a younger PAC in him alongside the one I mentioned, General Zod played by Terence Stamp in Superman II.
