RIPPA Posted March 26 Posted March 26 The latest in the Yu Darvish saga is that the Padres placed Darvish on the restricted list They free up a roster spot and are do not have topay Darvish's salary Darvish was already scheduled to miss the season due to recovery from elbow surgery still says he isn't ready to retire (in you remember back in January, there were reports Darvish was retiring but he then said no but that he probably would void his contract) He (Darvish) did acknowledge that he is waiting to see how rehab goes first before deciding if he will retire
