DreamBroken Posted March 7 Posted March 7 (edited) Quote *Taped for Xplosion: Eric Young def. Brent Oakley *Taped for Xplosion: Jason Hotch (w/ Order 4) def. Ricky Sosa TNA Thursday Night iMPACT - Airing March 12, 2026 from Atlanta, GA *The Hardys def. Sinner & Saint (Judas Icarus & Travis Williams) (5:14) when Jeff used Spinal Destination on Icarus. After the match, Jeff hit an additional Swanton on Williams but then the two teams shook hands and raised arms. *Indi Hartwell def. Kelsey Heather (2:51) after Hurts Donut. Afterwards, Indi cut a promo, saying she came to TNA to become knockouts champion and called out Arianna Grace. Arianna said all the other knockouts say the same thing and said Indi wasn't on her level while Indi vowed to take the title from her. *Trey Miguel, BDE, & Rich Swann def. Order 4 (Mustafa Ali, Jason Hotch, & John Skyler) (12:26) when Trey pinned Skyler with the Lightning Spiral. Afterwards, Trey & Ali faced off over the International Championship. *Steve Maclin came to the ring for a promo and said as part of his reinstatement, he had to issue an apology to Tom Hannifan and the fans. Mike Santana watched from the crowd with a no contact policy in place. Maclin read a prepared statement, calling Daria Rae the greatest leader TNA has seen. Maclin told Hannifan he should've taken the punch like a man and that there's a reason he's a former world champion while Tom sits behind the desk. Maclin said he's the most talked about man in the company and he hasn't worked there in a month. Maclin says it's been a long time since he's been world champion because of backstage politics. Maclin told Santana that he saw an opportunity and took it. Maclin said at Sacrifice, Santana would see the man he let out and it would be mayhem for all. *AJ Francis def. DreamBroken Posted March 13 Author Posted March 13 First few matches went quick, then the trios match was a fun all action match. Francis/Elijah was solid, Elijah's rope walk in to a Destroyer was unexpected. As much as I liked the brief face runs of Maclin, I love seeing him back as the top heel again. His world title run was criminally short years back, but stood out while it lasted. Love to see the return of Johnny Swinger & Swinger's Palace! Felt like a throwback to the hilarious skits of 5-6 years ago. Great to see Allie again, seemingly on her way to resurrection, still sporting the wound from when she was murdered by Su Yung 7 years ago. I also greatly miss Su and wish she was still around here. Nice debut for Ricky Sosa. Fun plunder brawl for the main event. 1
caley Posted March 17 Posted March 17 Is Moose's back genuinely injured? Because as a guy who hurt his back about a month back (Sciatica is the worst!), there were a couple moves (a big boot and a pump kick IIRC) where Moose could/would not his get his leg up the way one normally does. Then, at another point, he dropped his chair (or maybe some other weapon) on the ground and looked at it, annoyed, and you could see him seriously contemplating if it was worth picking up before gingerly leaning over and grabbing it. And I recognized that exact pattern from dropping the remote control on the ground and wondering if I could just leave the TV on whatever it was on, rather than bend over to pick up the remote. But then a few minutes later, he's getting powerbombed on the bottom of a stood-up trashcan! So is he really good at selling, or is he just gutting out an injury? 1

There were reports he was banged up after an apron spot at Slammiversary last year and that he might take time off then but he didn't. Then at Genesis a couple months ago, they had a back injury spot with the steel steps that took him out of the match for awhile which later played in to the match but Moose said after that it was legit and he did take maybe a little time off after TNA taped all of their February episodes at the end of Jan. He's generally been pretty active on the indys too so I think he's probably working through some pain issues. 1
