Card updated.   I'm subscribing to the theory that if the posters are the same it's because they're on the same night.  And si(nce Punk/Reigns is all but assuredly closing the show...

Another WM match where they need to be careful on who wins.  Should Gunther really lose 3 WM in a row?   Probably not

Also, should Seth Rollins ever beat Gunther under any circumstances? Probably not.

Seth Rollins is the ultimate company man, 0% chance he is winning as far as I can tell. If I had to guess they are building up for Gunther/Brock this summer, they'll keep him strong until either that match happens or they give up on it.

Hell no, Gunther shouldn't lose three in a row. I had no problem with the first to Sami Zayn, it had to be him or Gable. Hated the second to Jey Uso and I said that at the time.

Insane Asuka's never won a WrestleMania match, she's 0-6 there. Still pissed she lost her first and undefeated record to Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania XXXIV. Fucking bullshit that one.

Heyman is definitely going to fuck Rollins at some point in the match. Maybe Brock interferes and Gunther gets pissed saying he didn't need the help, and that sets up their program?

Hearing it discussed, now worried we might get the return of the Authority with heel Cody.

I've only seen it around as a random fan theory from people who clearly only want the worst to happen. Nothing is impossible, but it doesn't feel likely yet.

WOR says they're running 14 matches, 7 a night.

That all but assuredly means we're getting the Joshi triple threat and the rumored SpeedVision vs Knights of Uso six man tag as the last two.

If they are trying to make Orton the heel and Cody the sympathetic babyface that people will cheer for,   teasing the reformation of the Authority is literally the only possible thing left.  Because beating the shit out of Jelly Roll isn't going to do it

If the color matching is used to show what Night the match will be on,  Night 1 has the potential of being an incredible show while Night 2 has the potential of being a 1 match show.   Way too many matches on Night 2 that can go completely sideways in terms of booking or the wrestlers themselves

The translation is: EGA1 vs EGA2 has been ruled out of Mania. It will be decided in AAA.

As it should be. Why bother making this a sleepy filler match during a long stadium show in Vegas?

also when the face and heel dynamic on the US side of things is way less interesting than in AAA

Are they still doing Smackdown on Friday with the HOF ceremony after? I wonder if they're going to do the Andre battle royal or anything else to get the rest of the roster on the card. I'd also figured we might get Danhausen making his in-ring debut against Miz but maybe that and Keys having his first match are all going to be post-mania.

So the strategy to get people more interested in WM is to tell us that the product is complete shit and your champion is ruining the company.  And this isnt just with Orton because Reigns said basically the same thing before winning the rumble

I thought Russo was working with the other Clowns

Well said. This was my reaction to the reveal:

The reveal of whom Randy Orton was talking on the phone to, Pat McAfee is one of the worst mystery reveals ever.

yes, they are.  maybe get Giulia vs Tiffy, and a SD (Men's) Tag Title defense.

All Cody Rhodes vs. Randy Orton needed to be was over their legacy, their history in WWE and the WWE Championship. Keep it simple as that but no. That was one of the few WrestleMania 42 matches I looked forward to but no longer am I. WWE royally shit the fucking bed with the Pat McAfee reveal.

If I had to buy this years Mania as a PPV not a hope would I be reaching into my pocket.

But I guess that UFC/WWEs mantra these days isn’t it?

They’ve already got your money through Paramount/Netflix/Peacock deals so why bother putting massive effort into the card.

Seth V Gunther is gonna be a banger though.
