Casey Posted March 19 Posted March 19 (edited) Toni Storm is out indefinitely EDIT: oh and TK placed a $6.9b bid for WWE in 2023 apparently Edited March 19 by Casey
Elsalvajeloco Posted March 19 Posted March 19 I'd imagine Tony would like to get his hands on one of those NBA expansion teams. That's right on the low end for what it would take to get one of those teams, although, I would also imagine that's also going to go up dramatically once everything gets finalized. 1
Matt D Posted March 19 Posted March 19 (edited) The biggest advantage of Twitter over anywhere else is that if I post a clip of Andre the Giant punching Bobby Heenan, there's a non-zero chance Brooklyn Brawler is going to like it (which is a thing that happened today). Not a nazi. He didn't do anything bad, just probably helped cover up bad things............ Anyway, carry on. Edited March 19 by Matt D 4
Cobra Commander Posted March 19 Posted March 19 so, it'll turn out that Mina attacked Toni and not one of the other heels? (if we're booking heel turns that people don't want here) 1

So Nazi adjacent? 2

JLowe Posted March 19 Posted March 19 (edited) Didn’t see the PPV, was there something in the Toni-Marina match where she might have gotten hurt? I can’t see them doing the Rousey thing and destroying so much of their goodwill with their fan base for already scheduled time off, and supposedly they only knew for sure about her being out on Wednesday right before the show. I ask because we saw more of Marina’s rough throws and nearly catastrophic botched table spot last night and for a long time AEW seemed to really want to protect their top women from some of the wrestlers who might be a bit sloppy or stiff. (if we're booking heel turns that people don't want here) The three main suspects are clearly Marina, Mina, and Ronda. Except I think Tony Schiavone exonerated Marina. And of course, it could easily be someone not involved at all in the story yet. Porksweats' suggestion of Britt Baker is an interesting one. 1
JLowe Posted March 19 Posted March 19 There’s references to like 6-8 different people in the photo of the crime scene.

If we're going with people not involved yet, I'll go with Toni's former Outcast teammate, Ruby Soho. 3

BobbyWhioux Posted March 20 Posted March 20 the Black Scorpion Principle dictates that they had better already know who took out Toni?, because the eventual answer is going to suuuuuuuuuuuck otherwise so here's hoping they have it decided and don't decide to change just because we start guessing right. 2 2

I’ve read it could have been a ploy to get a look at WWE’s books (sort of rule where a serious bid gets access, I don’t know, I’m not Big Business Jones here), which is diabolical if true. The Natural Posted March 20 Posted March 20 https://m.youtube.com/shorts/-NO_SfFuJfo First time I've seen this video. Legit LOL. 1

That sounds like discovery in a deposition hearing. 1

To publicly dunk on someone, hey, maybe be ready for that person to say some shit back. To paraphrase one of my favorite films, she probably didn't expect Ricochet to react that way, but she had to expect a reaction. In my own meaningless opinion, this falls under the statute of "everyone sucks here," subsection "don't start none don't want none." I'm sorry - but there's no comparison to what she said compared to what he said. I said it before and I'll say it again - it was a completely cuntish thing to say. 1

I didn't say they compare. I went out of my way to say he's acting like a complete asswipe and went too far. BUT this person chose to start shit. Nobody made her talk shit on him. Way too many people are comfortable with dunking on others on social media with perceived impunity and it's garbage behavior. Again, did he go too far? Absolutely. But is he allowed to clap back in some form when some rando talks shit on him? Sure. It's just funny to me that everybody wants to score some internet points by publicly shit talking, but then "it's "oh no, the consequences of my actions!" when it turns around on them. To reiterate: Was she wrong for talking shit? Yes. Was Ricochet wrong for clapping back in an outsized, inappropriate way? Also yes. Does everyone suck here? Absolutely.
