FAST channels should be on Pluto, etc as free advertising of your product. Free advertising for real. F1, FIFA, even TNA and WWE Biography have FAST Channels on Samsung TV Plus, along with BBC News and everything inbetween. Tony should push to get that everywhere. Just show old AEW Dark episodes and have Schiavone do PPV Control Centers or something. Edited March 9 by Marcel 1

Its name is derived both from the long endurance of the broadcast as well as from the natural slow pace of the television programme's progress. It was popularised in the 2000s by the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation (NRK), beginning with the broadcast of a seven-hour train journey in 2009 1 5

Now you got me all misty eyed and nostalgic for first person train TV. Edited March 9 by Technico Support 2

Cobra Commander Posted March 9 Posted March 9 YouTube stormchasers livestreaming their drives in good weather towards a stormy area are basically American slow TV there's also the people who have cameras at various rail locations to live stream the occasions that trains pass by... and the volcano eruption streams (the Tel Aviv/Beirut skyline streams are a little less tactful these days) 1
tbarrie Posted March 9 Posted March 9 2 hours ago, Technico Support said: So from what I can tell, this is for live and PPV for viewers outside the US, essentially a Triller replacement, plus a FAST channel. It says "outside US and Canada" (emphasis added). Any idea what the official Canadian option will be? Will stuff be on Crave?
JLowe Posted March 9 Posted March 9 Sometimes bars here will put on something like the slow streams. One was just a train going through Eastern Europe. Another was a watering hole, I think in the Kalahari desert. That one is a lot of waiting for a few moments of excitement. 6
Technico Support Posted March 10 Posted March 10 (edited) The train one is awesome because they shot every route four times, once in each season, then spliced it together. So you'd enter a tunnel in Winter and come out of it in Spring. Yes I'm a dork fuck off Edited March 10 by Technico Support 3 1

They put up a railcam about a year ago, and it made the national news twice already - once when a car got stuck on the tracks in a snowstorm, and once when a speeding driver went airborne. 1

Will stuff be on Crave? US and Indian fans only get the FAST channel and nothing else. Apparently Canada can buy PPVs on there for $54CAD but that's it. Mexico is entirely locked out. Europe, Japan, the UK, Australia, South Africa, the Philippines, Pakistan and Brazil all get the full package. EDIT: Just traveled to the UK, and for anyone that cares: The PPV archive isn't complete, only has Revolution 2020-2025 and Dynasty 2024-2025. The TV archive isn't complete, only has 2025-2026. So, for those of us in the US at least, it's really only worth it for the PPV discount (and I guess if you're a fan of ROH's weekly show/when they decide to hold their sporadic PPVs). Especially if you already sub to HBO Max, where the archives are just about complete. Also the whole thing about the PPVs being in your library for 90 days, I imagine that's probably when they get added to the MyAEW PPV archive. I believe it works the same way on HBO Max. AxB Posted March 10 Posted March 10 If we already bought the PPVs on Fite/Triller, then they'll stay in our Fite archives as long as Triller exists.
Jenalysis Posted March 11 Posted March 11 This is going to be great when I leave America for good this Monday- I'll have a way to watch AEW with the wifey. 9

Technico Support Posted March 11 Posted March 11 (edited) I'm not sure if this one has the seasonal transitions, but it's 10 hours of relaxing train goodness. Edited March 11 by Technico Support 2 2
Pete Posted March 11 Posted March 11 The NYC subway ride-alongs are a bunch of fun too, especially once they go elevated. 2

I've watched enough episodes in parts that I've seen repeats now. 1 2
