TNA Thursday Night iMPACT on AMC  week 3 from Albuquerque, NM

-No Holds Barred: AJ Francis vs. Rich Swann
-Nic Nemeth vs. BDE
-Elijah vs. Jason Hotch (w/ Order 4)
-Stacks Lorenzo (w/ Arianna Grace) vs. Home Town Man
-Elayna Black makes her in-ring debut
-The System (Eddie Edwards, Brian Myers, Cedric Alexander, & Bear Bronson) will kick off the show.

Had a feeling but sad to see Maclin get fired, he had a great 4-5 year run, I hope to see him bounce back elsewhere. Pretty good opener from Nemeth/BDE and a fun no holds barred main event with Swann & Francis. Decent stuff in between and setting things up for the following week.

TNA Thursday Night iMPACT - January 29, 2026 from Albuquerque, NM

*The System (Eddie Edwards, Brian Myers, Cedric Alexander, & Bear Bronson) come to the ring for a promo. Myers began by repeating "it had to be done". Eddie said all week, everyone has been asking why they would turn their backs on their so called family. Eddie called Moose a selfish prick who only cared about what he needs and not the System. Eddie said JDC only joined the System to ride their coattails to the end of his career. Alisha Edwards interrupted and confronted Eddie over keeping this from her. Eddie argued that Alisha lets her emotions overcome her. Alisha brought up that her contract is coming up and asks what if she doesn't want to be part of the System. Eddie tells her you either trust the System or you're out of the System.  Alisha declared she didn't want to be part of the System and walked out.

*Nic Nemeth def. BDE (11:39) after catching a springboard in to the Danger Zone

*Ryan Nemeth came to the ring and called out Mara Sade' to admit he defeated her and shake his hand. Mara instead attacked him but Ryan blocked her superkick and laid her out with a clothesline.

*Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo (w/ Arianna Grace) def. Home Town Man (5:57) via rollup with feet on the ropes. Arianna stopped Stacks from using his title as a weapon and warned him against cheating.

*Elijah def. Jason Hotch (w/ Mustafa Ali, John Skyler, Tasha Steelz, & Agent Zero) (7:59) after the Highwayman's Farewell. After the match, Order 4 attacked Elijah but he fought them off.

*Elayna Black def. Ruthie Jay (2:57) after a double underhook twisting neckbreaker. Daria Rae did commentary.

-The Feast or Fired Cases were revealed: Trey Miguel received the International Championship shot, Eddie Edwards received the Worlds Championship shot, Eric Young received the X title shot, and Steve Maclin was fired.

*Rich Swann def. AJ Francis (17:20) with a frog splash on a pile of chairs.

-Backstage, Frankie Kazarian tells Daria Rae they need to talk.

So TNA has a gimmick where they really fire somebody? I thought that was some kind of joke thing where they go cool their heels for a couple months then get "rehired".

In most cases, it was a legit exit from the company but some years did have storyline stuff around it.  The very first year it was Christopher Daniels fired in 07, so Curry Man worked 2008 until that year's FoF saw Curry Man fired.

Other times were legit leaving the company for EC3 when he went to WWE, Chavo in 2013, Daivari, and the last time before this was Yuya Uemura going back to Japan.

So the more aggressive dare I say more "Italian" for lack of a better term version of Arianna Grace is already over?  Or just a way to do something more heinous to Santino 

i wonder if in today's version of TNA going to NXT is considered "fired".    Maybe Maclin will go to AEW but eventually Tony has to stop hiring people and work with the current ones more
