So, are those visa issues a work or shoot? In 2026, I can believe just about anyone (except maybe someone working for TKO) having those problems.

Dani Luna not being there is a shoot. Leon Slater isn't on the show because he's wrestling for WWE overseas.

I caught a little of the second hour. That DaSilva dude needs to stay off camera. Yeah, a lot of shitty gaga, but I thought the video packages were valuable info pieces for new viewers. Dixie Carter is a remarkably beautiful woman - 61! I didn't watch during her run, but I assume they were booing because her version of the promotion wasn't particularly good? I didn't pay a whole lot of attention to much of anything but the Kazarian-Santana AEW Dark Main Event. Very good match. Happy to see Santana doing so well. Kazarian seems like a weak choice for 'World Champion' of a promotion, but he's still a helluva hand. This seemed like business as usual from TitsNAss Wrestling.

p.s. can somebody ask Lionheart on his pod to compare AEW Dynamite from last night to this HUGE debut? Are they still looking like number 2, Wizard?

They booed Dixie because she made herself a main character as "the evil boss" and was god-awful at it.

Oh, it's so much more than that!

In addition to becoming an onscreen character, bizarre hirings and firings, moving TNA outside of their TNA Asylum area, etc. etc. but most the most notorious was her reliance on Vince Russo which culminated in the amazing moment where supposedly SpikeTV had told her to ditch Vince Russo, she insisted he was not under contract, while he was NOT working for them, Vince Russo emailed creative plans to wrestling journalist Mike Johnson instead of Mike Tenay, Johnson posted it to his site, revealing Russo was under contract the whole time (Spike later claimed that Russo had nothing to do with TNA leaving Spike, and that Russo was overstating their importance or some such nonsense) but it was one of the most baffling moments in a fed full of them.

The treatment of injured talent is near the top of the list for me, along with the confounding loyalty to Russo.

The biggest problem with this product from first glance is that they should not be a 2 hour show.   Someone just needs to make us a 60 minute version of the show and this would be a solid show.   Two hours of this feels like something from the Attitude Era where it was loaded with segments and promos to compensate for their roster after the main events.

I tapped out before the main event. I wanted to give the show a chance, but it was just bad. It seems as if more talent will be departing as the Inspiration are free agents. Not to sound like a tribalist, but I hope they end up in AEW. There's a number of matches I'd like to see them have.

Harley & Willow doing segments with the Inspiration would be highly entertaining. They're also an established tag act that would immediately be credible. Agreed. SRS seems to think AEW is doing a full-on TNA talent raid, so that wouldn't surprise me at all.

I can only figure that the reason why Elayna Black is back in TNA is because that OnlyFans/whatever shit she is doing with Mandy Rose isn't paying all the bills she thought.  Maybe she found her "love for wrestling" after about 8 months

That was.... just bad. Like so bad I don't even want to critique it. It feels below me to even be posting about it.

THAT was the best you have to debut on a new network??? That just tells me I have no need to watch any more of this company.

Does the A in TNA still stand for Action? Because it doesn't sound like the action in that show was in any way total, or non-stop.

I like the Sonya Deville was brought in although having her do her "authority gimmick" from WWE which got gradually awful as the weeks went on is not encouraging.   Would rather see her as a manager or a wrestler

LOLTNA is eternal.

What a failure of a debut. Only 3 matches, with two of them featuring WWE cast-offs. This did nothing for new viewers? Want to know who Order 4 is? Fuck you. Want to know who the Elegance Brand are? Fuck You. Want to know who The System are? FUCK YOU. Enjoy multiple Santino segments. Enjoy Daria Rae  (fka Sonya DeVille) as yet another heel authority figure. Enjoy a 12 minute sloppy main event with over 5 minutes of commercials.

Dixie getting booed out of the building was hilarious.

Let me add to this, "Hey, we just started a new show! Next week we start FIRING PEOPLE. Make sure to tune in! We swear you'll know who these people are and care about this!"

I mean a FEAST OR FIRED match would work if you actually included some of the people who left.  Maybe they were and the wrestlers beat them to the punch.  if the rumors about the IInspiration is true one of them will be included.   But yeah chances are it is someone that the AMC has never heard of before

I am curious why Dixie was booed so much.   Is she the TNA version of Vickie Guerrero where you boo her out of the building because of who she is as a character?   I can't imagine the WWE tribalists who suddenly became TNA fans would even know who Dixie Carter is.  Maybe the vast majority of the crowd was made of the old school crowd that was giving them one last chance

That's how I feel. It would be like making fun of developmentally disabled person.

She is in the hall of fame for terrible promoters. She was so inept and out of her depth. Her parents bought TNA and installed her as a president with zero wrestling knowledge. She would lash out at talent at backstage meetings, make really bad decisions on the direction of the company, tried to make AJ take a paycut when he was the only star the brand ever made.

She gets booed because she deserves to get booed.

So apparently they did shoot an angle involving Nemeth and built the main event match for the PPV as a Texas Death Match with Nemeth as ref.  Of course they shot the angle AFTER THE SHOW

You have to be kidding me 🤦‍♂️

didn't TNA lose a TV deal at one point because the network/investors specifically put a "never hire that man again" clause in the contract and she re-hired Russo anyway and then tried to keep his employment a secret?

and yeah, she's ultimately responsible for how TNA did Daffney dirty right?  Definitely "Fuck Off Forever" territory there.

I'm pretty sure that was the time someone CC'd the wrong Mike Johnson and accidentally sent the "wrestling journalist" an email with Russo on the recipient list.

A friend of mine did the free month thing she has going (no, I'm not saying that as a cover for me doing it.  A friend really did get on there.)  From what I heard about what she advertises in the PMs it'd be hard to imagine she isn't making some good money off of that.  I wish her well with going back to wrestling but if she plans to stay on she might need to close the OF account soon.

I haven't watched TNA in some time but found a way to watch this.  I get that they were trying to find a way to highlight TNA's past while looking to the future but they sure went about it in the wrong way.  Three matches in a two hour show is inexcusable no matter the company.  But to not completely shit on things I was wondering how The Inspiration were since it's been forever since seeing them and felt they did pretty darn well.  I imagine they still have the comedic chops I adored so if their wrestling is still up to par then that's great.
