Dragon Posted January 1 Posted January 1 (edited) Naito in NOAH. He won the GHC tags with Bushi. Take that AEW and reddit! KENTA, Ulka Sasaki, Tetsuya Endo and HAYATA new unit is named White Raven Sqwad. Alpha Wolf won the GHC National and joined Team 2000 X. AMAKUSA won the GHC Jr. Inamura retained the GHC HW 6,278 Fans, up from last year. Proud to be right again about predicting this budokan show being higher attended than last year new year show, also right about not fully selling it out. I wanna meme the GHC HW on Naito in the future. Edited January 1 by Dragon
Dragon Posted January 1 Author Posted January 1 Here's Naito's NOAH profile https://www.noah.co.jp/profile/337/
Sublime Posted January 1 Posted January 1 So what are the odds on Hiromu joining NOAH in the future he’s already been working with them and with Naito being there I think the odds are strong he’ll jump too

I wanna meme the GHC HW on Naito in the future. Hiromu vs Amakusa was awesome and something worth going out of your way to see. Naito was actually sad because the poor guy is so broken down to the point he can't even rely on his ring smarts/tricks to have a passable match. I also have no idea why they did the whole "surprise" thing, just come out and announce Naito (a legit draw) is appearing. 1
Dragon Posted January 2 Author Posted January 2 Go has signed with AJPW Shota Kofuji or whatever else name he uses is both with OSW and All Japan Pro Wrestling as a dual affiliate. His trainer was Masao Inoue? 1
Dragon Posted January 2 Author Posted January 2 He probably signs contract with limited dates or one thats says whenever he feels like working for them with limited dates, maybe. In NOAH news: Katsumi Inahata who used to work for JTO under the name Fire Katsumi, has joined NOAH. He was trained by Taka. He wore similar colors to Jun's old blue and white. Picture from Pep...
Control Posted January 2 Posted January 2 I’ve never seen him wrestle, but he’s listed on Cagematch as 6 feet tall. Gotta send him on a US “learning excursion” so he can bulk up. 1
Dragon Posted January 2 Author Posted January 2 (edited) There's lot of promotions in Japan, I wish I had a modern directory of the promotions listed in order in English profiles. The very smaller ones will probably will get raided over time. I wanna see where Cima and the other guys who also left GLEAT go. I think Muto is trying to get Nakajima back into NOAH if you look at X, it may be just be GLEAT vs NOAH or nothing at all. Edited January 2 by Dragon
Dragon Posted January 3 Author Posted January 3 (edited) More AJPW news... Kurama removed his mask, and will start over again as Yasutaka Yano and at he bottom of the card. He used to work in NOAH. If you know about what he did to some woman allegedly, it was why he fired from NOAH Rei Saito will be back on Feb 23. The next Triple Crown match is set with Kento (c) vs the very tall Talos at the Chiba Makuhari Messe International Exhibition Hall 4. Trip Edited January 3 by Dragon
Dragon Posted January 3 Author Posted January 3 (edited) NOAH's Junta Miyawaki wore a DDT shirt at the latest DDT show and he will fight in DDT. I guess that's his inner company excursion (both NOAH and DDT are CyberFight promotions). It's probably the reverse of DDT's Endo working for NOAH since 2025. Edited January 3 by Dragon

Dragon Posted January 4 Author Posted January 4 (edited) I am watching the TJPW show live. I joined in progress. The show of the year is here. Time for Yuki Arai in action. She did some kinda brainbuster to end the match. Endo vs Mirai is next. Mirai won, rather have endo win oh well.. Ober Eats vs some bathroom breakers. Wakana of Ober Eats won, the Chris Benoit of our times. Time for main evento. Miu vs the Bee. Miu won. She's lot better than Miyu ever was. The Bee will win the PoP someday. Dragon Posted January 4 Author Posted January 4 The Dome wasn't sold out for NJPW. It's still the highest attended WK event and they sold out their configuration. 46,913 fans is still a very big number.
Dragon Posted January 5 Author Posted January 5 Yota is using the IWGP Heavyweight 4th generation belt instead of the IWGP World Heavyweight belt for the IWGP World Heavyweight. It has a dual name now, IWGP Heavyweight Championship/IWGP World Heavyweight Championship, so pick whatever name you want to use. If the changes sticks, he is the last man to win and wear the previous controversial IWGP World belt design. 1
Dragon Posted January 6 Author Posted January 6 (edited) Now they dropped the IWGP World name for good, and the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship was disbanded, and merged the World title history with the old IWGP title history. Bit messy whatever. https://sp.njpw.jp/623182 Yota is the 87th IWGP Heavyweight Champion. The IWGP IC title is forever gone and sealed away. Edited January 6 by Dragon 1
Curt McGirt Posted January 6 Posted January 6 That's the only time I've seen someone go into the stands of Korakuen without somebody else walking next to them as they pull their hair
Dragon Posted January 9 Author Posted January 9 I had another post about the IWGP HW, but it didn't save so I will do it later when more time pasts away to be double sure about it. Anyway enjoy this
Dragon Posted January 9 Author Posted January 9 (edited) Here are the updated official pages for the IWGP Heavyweight title history https://www.njpw1972.com/champions/iwgp https://sp.njpw.jp/champions/iwgp You can see the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship history is merged with the resurrected IWGP Heavyweight Championship history. The other day they weirdly didn't had the previous World Championship history in the offical IWGP Heavyweight Championship history pages, just skipped to 87th. The records should default back to the IWGP HW's. So Inoki is the first champ, Vader is the first gaijin champ, no more last champ, oldest is Tenryu, youngest is Nakamura, heaviest is Vader, lightest is Kota Ibushi, most defenses in one run is Okada, longest reign is Okada, shortest reign is Kensuke Sasaki, most reigns is Tanahashi, most defenses combined is Okada.
