I've always wanted one of the bootleggers to boot track suits but I doubt there's much to be made there. 1
Teflon Turtle Posted January 2 Posted January 2 (edited) New Japan still gets a new tracksuit design every year via Soul Sports - though I don't see the Young Lions and show crews rocking them as much as I used to, I feel like. I've always wanted one but never made the purchase due to the differences between Japanese and NA sizing, and my legs are pretty long. Oh well. Maybe someday I'll roll the dice. Since this is the AEW thread: I'm a bit surprised AEW hasn't done something similar. I know they're doing a wider release of the football kits (did I get that right...? someone from across the pond, please help) this year, but you'd think with as many wrestling/puro geeks as they have in the company, they'd lean into the tracksuit either for AEW itself or for a faction. I can't think of many things that looked more badass than the various Suzuki-gun tracksuits from the 2010s. Edited January 2 by Teflon Turtle 4

Stashpages has some pretty dope jackets for FMW and All Japan. And other promotions. The entire site is honestly awesome. 2
RazorbladeKiss87 Posted January 3 Posted January 3 Yeah, Stashpages is great. He's talked about doing full track suits before. Had an FMW flag from him.
Technico Support Posted January 3 Posted January 3 AEW definitely had Soulsports gear. Not sure about full tracksuits but I’ve definitely seen jackets on their TV. 3 1

The Demand were wearing full AEW tracksuits a few weeks (maybe a month) ago on Collision, so they do exist. I want to say Willow also had the full tracksuit on recently, but I could be wrong. 3 2

Ramo2653 Posted January 4 Posted January 4 I've seen the AEW Soul Sports tracksuits on their website before when looking at merch. I did and still do want a NJPW tracksuit but the ones available for sale are different than the tracksuits the actual wrestlers wear. Then again I've always been a sucker for matching company gear, I used to referee volleyball at a bar and every year at the end of season they would gift the referees custom gear so one year we got tracksuits which were pretty boss. The last year I did it they gave us really nice winter coats with the logo stitched on the front. 2
Peck Posted January 5 Posted January 5 Fightful just sent out an update that Matt Taven, Mercedes Martinez and Alex Abrahantes are no longer with AEW. 1
Cobra Commander Posted January 5 Posted January 5 how many unique matches could they do if they only had Moxley wrestling other bald guys?

A quick count came up with 14 baldos on AEW's roster including Mox himself (although that includes Luther & Stoke) so you could have a very healthy tournament with just the cueballs. I will also renew my call for a reverse apuestas match where the loser has to grow their hair out and show the world their fucked up hairline. 1 12
Technico Support Posted January 6 Posted January 6 In tangentially-related AEW news, WWE is going to Dusseldorf soon. Does Aliester Black have to wrestle as Tommy End there? Do we need Excalibur to weigh in on this?

JLowe Posted January 6 Posted January 6 I’m still catching up on the last few weeks of shows, but want to say that I would love to see Konosuke Takeshita and Mascara Dorada have a prolonged rivalry. This Christmas Collision match is reminding me of watching Juventud Guerrera in WCW. 2
Johnny Sorrow Posted January 7 Posted January 7 I got an e mail today telling me that AEW is running the Mission Ballroom in Denver on 2/25 for a Dynamite/ Collision show. I was at the last one there in June and it might be my favorite place I've ever seen wrestling. So I decided to treat myself and grabbed a third row ringside ticket just now. 5

I can't think of many things that looked more badass than the various Suzuki-gun tracksuits from the 2010s. Six years ago I took the plunge getting a NJPW Lion Mark zip hoodie all the way from Japan. The website recommends going up a size, I'd say two. I was a Large so went with an Xtra Large but honestly it fits more like a Medium. Do you like a tight fit to your clothes or baggy? For me baggy any time. That NJPW Lion Mark hoodie cost a lot from Japan. Thankfully NJPW launched a Eurostore in December 2024 so it'll be cheaper to get from there. Need to decide on which hoodie to get. Hope that helps? On 1/3/2026 at 8:07 PM, Technico Support said: AEW definitely had Soulsports gear. Sucks the NJPW tracksuits are different to the ones the wrestlers actually wear, you want the real deal. 13 hours ago, Johnny Sorrow said: I got an e mail today telling me that AEW is running the Mission Ballroom in Denver on 2/25 for a Dynamite/ Collision show.
