Brother, I don't even watch WWE.  My only experience with this dude is seeing him on TV at the gym.  Let me tell you: even with the sound off and no idea what he's talking about, you can still tell he's a grade A douchebag.

The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins feels like it's gonna be a good time if you really enjoy the one character that Tracy Morgan has done for years (or you don't think too deeply about the Reggie Dinkins character having undiagnosed CTE).

Wonder if Daniel Radcliffe will get even more TV work as a result of this (Radcliffe is probably 'set' enough to just do things because he wants to do them instead of needing to do them, which appears to be the case for all the child stars from the Harry Potter movies)

I'd already been watching it, but @Curt McGirt also recommended Task on HBO.  It's a really great show and it's made by the same guy who made Mare of Easttown (based in the same universe, as well).  The show description makes it sound like some sort of action-packed thriller ("An FBI agent (Mark Ruffalo) heads a task force to put an end to a string of violent robberies led by an unassuming family man (Tom Pelphrey.")  Really, it's more of a slow burn character study of damaged people with lots of problems, and the "violent home invasion crew" is finished doing robberies by the end of episode 1, while the rest of the show deals with the fallout from that final robbery, how we got there, and Ruffalo's character's own past and family problems.  Ruffalo is so good at playing down on his luck schlubs, and Pelphrey (awesome in Banshee, Ozark, and that show about the transdimensional hole in the ground)...that dude could read a phone book with relatability and gravitas.  I really enjoyed it.  Check it out if feel bad shows that eventually might feel good are your thing.

Yeah, as much as I can live without Stallone existing, I don't understand the comparison point, because the one thing I can say about Sly is I never got a read of "extremely tiny micropenis energy" out of him.

Hadn't heard of this but same guy and universe as Mare of EastTown is intriguing. I ultimately thought that show didn't quite live up to its potential but I liked it enough to give the creator another chance.

I caught up to some of Mare of Easttown because HBO was running a marathon of it (which is how I finally got into Deadwood, too) and it was pretty good too. If you like it you'll definitely like Task. The final twists are a little more drawn out over the last couple episodes instead of feeling bunched up at the very end; it kind of feels like the makers fell into a better groove over a similar story, expanded the formula a bit and let it breathe more. Or, I could just be biased because I didn't see the whole series and did see all of Task, I dunno.

Mare kinda wraps up about 5 episodes in and then has 3 more.

I only caught the last couple so it felt like they were drawing things out, and then in the last two episodes, twist twist twist twist twist. Again, I could be wrong though.

While I agree with the second part of that statement - that above list technically isn't as bad in regards to spinoffs

NCIS and Chicago Fire - while having a billion spinoffs - are still the original OGs in the Top 20

The only things that are spinoffs are Boston Blue, Elsbeth and Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage (with Ghosts being a remake of the British show and Matlock being whatever the fuck version of the original it is)

So spinoffs are only a quarter of the list.

It is more sad to me that something like Dancing with the Stars is still a Top 20 show

(I will acknowledged that there might be some sort of shared universe of all the country cop shows that I wasn't fucking looking up)

Sheriff Country is a spin-off for Fire Country. And it has Morena Baccarin as the lead so I'm not gonna complain.

anyway, does anyone watch Industry on HBO? Does it get better? It's just kind of boring and I'm on episode 2 or 3 right now. The banner for it on HBO Max shows Kit Harrington but he's nowhere to be found so far. And I'm not sure about the premise of "Euphoria, but the main cast are twenty-something bankers instead of high school students".
