Casey Posted February 5 Posted February 5 Craig Mazin is creating, writing, executive producing and is showrunner for Baldur's Gate on HBO. It's set after the events of BG3. I look forward to this premiering in 2035 and then Season 2 in 2039.
Cobra Commander Posted February 6 Posted February 6 Only took me 3 years to find out that they did a Power Rangers reunion TV film on Netflix and the plot description makes it sound faithfully batshit to the spirit of the original series Quote In 2022, Billy Cranston calls in his fellow teammates when a robotic version of Rita Repulsa and her Putties appear. However, Robo-Rita vaporizes Trini Kwan, who sacrifices herself to shield Billy, and flees to plan her revenge. Billy and Zack Taylor are forced to tell Trini's now-orphaned daughter Minh about her mother's fate. Trini’s actor having died in 2001. Quote Thuy Trang, Amy Jo Johnson, Jason David Frank, and Austin St. John appear in archive audio and footage. Their characters (Trini Kwan, Kimberly Hart, Tommy Oliver, and Jason Lee Scott) otherwise appear only in morphed form portrayed by uncredited performers. Does that count as a fake shemp to have uncredited doubles in Power Ranger outfits for the actors that are either dead or not actually appearing in the film. Amy Jo is living in Canada last I recall from following her Instagram. Austin St. John was unable to leave the country because he was being charged with fraud under the CARES act (he got probation). Jason David Frank turned down an offer and then he died (suicide). They did get mostly season 2 to Turbo cast members which was great news for Johnny Yong Bosch, Catherine Sutherland, Karan Ashley, and Steve Cardenas. It took a few decades for me to find out famously crappy a work environment the Power Rangers show was. Disclaimer: I haven’t actually watched this but I watched the original show from like season 2ish to around Zeo or Turbo 1

Contentious C Posted February 8 Posted February 8 I totally came at it backwards, but: 1. I didn't realize there was a second season of Perry Mason, 2. I watched The Knick and developed quite the ridiculous crush on Juliet Rylance, and 3. Now realize years later that, here she is as Della Street all along. That voice.

RIPPA Posted February 10 Posted February 10 Kelly Clarkson announced this will be the last season of her talk show saying she wanted to prioritize her kids at the moment. She has already missed a lot of episodes using guest hosts to fill in. Dolfan in NYC Posted February 10 Author Posted February 10 Ring doorbells can apparently only be used to identify dogs (and undocumented immigrants) because it's been more than a week, and the FBI has finally just released images of the people believed to have abducted Savanah Guthrie's mother:

RIPPA Posted February 12 Posted February 12 David Boreanaz has been cast as Rockford in NBC's reboot of The Rockford Files
Casey Posted February 12 Posted February 12 We'll get that Angel revival series any day now. Any. day. now.
J.H. Posted February 12 Posted February 12 Can Boreanaz play shlubbyy? The d Rockford relied heavily on Garner playing a normal everyman. If you take that out of the equation is it Rockford? James
odessasteps Posted February 12 Posted February 12 Still disappointed the Rockford reboot with Josh Holloway didn’t work.

Dolfan in NYC Posted February 13 Author Posted February 13 Good Omens Season 3 will debut May 13. The weird thing is, it's being framed as "Season 3" but will apparently just be a 90 minute movie.

odessasteps Posted February 14 Posted February 14 This would have been a quality night on TV for teenage boys with no girlfriends. 2
Contentious C Posted February 16 Posted February 16 I'm watching the Percy Jackson TV show for reasons as yet unclear, but at least I'm far enough in to see the guy who portrays Dionysus and think, "Hey, it's Rex Splode! That totally makes sense!"

J.H. Posted February 19 Posted February 19 What is up with "Won't You Be My Neighbor," showing up in real estate ads? Fred would never have agreed to that if he were alive! James 1
