J.H. Posted January 27 Posted January 27 (edited) ER Season 3 Episode 11 "Night Shift" is another episode of ER that seems like its a nothing episode. Then Dennis Gant dies. Omar Epps jade been playing Gant since S3E1 and wonder why he wasn't in the opening credits. Now I know why. I honestly thought after Dr.Benton dressed him down that he would spend the rest of the season proving himself. Boy was I wrong! James Edited January 27 by J.H.
J.H. Posted January 28 Posted January 28 (edited) ER S3E15 "The Long Way Around" There I am, eating chocolate chip waffles with Sandy. Then this episode comes on and... HOLY SHIT! IS THAT EWAN MCGREGOR?!? Yup, sure was. Early roll for the future Obi Wan Kenobi and... man you can see it already. The IT FACTOR is on full blast! James Edited January 28 by J.H.

Makes me want to go back to the episode of CSI he did and see if there are oddities there James Edited January 29 by J.H.

Dolfan in NYC Posted January 29 Author Posted January 29 LORD OF THE FLIES Debuts on BBC - 8 February --- I for one cannot wait for Andy Serkis and Seth Rogen to remake this as an animated movie with flies as the main characters. 1
Dolfan in NYC Posted January 30 Author Posted January 30 Just remembering when Mike from Red Letter Media called Darren Aronofsky a "Cab driver from Brooklyn" for some reason This... This just makes me sad.

But also, it's an animation for adults, which is a genre massively overwhelmed by puerile Seth MacFarlane-isms, and is also a musical. So it's really sealing itself into multiple niches before it starts. But it also has a super obsessive fan-base who talk about it like it's the only show on Earth, and the last time I watched a show like that, it was Rick and Morty. Didn't go too well for me. But also, I agree, it's incredible. Lots of haters look at it and say "We have to save Keith David from this, he's too good for it", and then you see 'making of' footage of him and he's absolutely loving every second in the vocal booth. I didn't know it was a musical at first. I've never heard Keith David sing before and it's delightful. I was surprised because I assumed it was for kids before my fam started watching it. Well, my nephew is 15 and he ain't watching it, it's his folks. To be fair, he liked K Pop Demon Hunters but when his mom wanted to put on the sing along version, he Peaced out. Dolfan in NYC Posted February 2 Author Posted February 2 NBC Today show anchor Savannah Guthrie's mom has gone missing. The police said they were "gravely concerned" about what they found at her home, but also that she was not mentally diminished even though she's in her mid 80s My pure speculation was the police were talking all around the word 'kidnapping' but we'll see. Hopefully she'll be okay.

Curt McGirt Posted February 3 Posted February 3 She wasn't supposed to last a day without her medication so... yeah. You connect the dots.
Curt McGirt Posted February 4 Posted February 4 If you don't think Mark Ruffalo was working on Stephen Colbert last evening, you need to explain why. That guy was batty as horseshit and they both no-sold the hell out of it. OR, he's maybe just a wack-job?

Cops are connecting dots in the kidnapping case. And those dots are apparently leading to Savannah Guthrie's sister and brother-in-law. Yikes...
