I'm not sure why, but I've never seen Rock looking this... old before.

By non active pro wrestler standards, he looks like he is 30. Look at his contemporaries also in the mid 50s-mid 60s range. Rough to say the least.

Could be in the ground which is the OTHER pro wrestling alternative.

Jumanji 3 (technically 4 but its called 3 - these of the Rock/Kevin Hart variety) has had its release day moved for Christmas 2026

It was originally scheduled for Dec 11 but since Dec 18 is "Dunesday" (Dune 3 and Avengers: Doomsday) they are moving to after

Trailer is NSFW unless your work approves of people taking hammers to the dome and people having their fingers bitten off

There aren't that many biggest films around Thanksgiving this year. The Narnia film is the only one I can think of, and I believe that one is also on Netflix. Why not move there?

I work for the Bonanno family so I am good.

Focker in Law is Thanksgiving Day and the next Hunger Games is the week before that

And the previous Jumanjis came out around Christmas so they probably wanted to stick with that

And yeah - Greta Gerwig's Narnia, at the moment, is supposed to only be released in IMAX and then hit Netflix around Christmas

Focker in Law is for the older crowd I am guessing.

The Hunger Games prequel from 3 years ago did half (worldwide at least) of the film before that. So it's trending downward if anything.

Not exactly a murderer's row of films especially compared to pre-covid.

Charlize Theron gets hunted by Taron Egerton because sure why not

Stephen Colbert wrote a lord of the rings movie that's currently in development.  It's set 14 years after the war of the rings and focusses on the remaining hobbits.

Ok, fine, whatever.

Christmas 2027.

They need to do a shot for shot remake of the intro with Jamie Lee Curtis in the movie.

So, we've finally gotten to the "the reviews are gonna suck so let's start spoiling some of our surprises" phase of marketing:

No word on who's doing the voices of Fox and... Monkey from Super Monkeyball(?)

The End of Oak Street

Directed by David Robert Mitchell (It Follows)

Anne Hathaway and Ewan McGregor

Speaking of giving things away in the trailer

EDIT - IMDB calls this movie Flowervale Street so clearly there was a last minute name change

First comment on YouTube when I clicked the link was somebody praising this trailer as being an example of not giving things away 🙂

I mean, I've added it to my "watch eventually" list but...

The premise makes no sense. So this dude meets her at a gas station and is somehow prepared already for this game he wants to play? Does he just hang around the station waiting for a suitable opponent that also needs directions to this place?

They’ve been revealing way too much for the Mario movie, even if it’s just obscure characters like Wart and Rob.
