I was going say y'all are forgetting Michelle Yeoh but:

1) There is probably no way she would say yes to some heaping hot garbage like this right now in her career

2) Given the go woke, go broke crowd which likely doesn't exist in any real numbers but is still a nuisance online and how that last Expendables film did, this has #5 at best the B.O. the first week out.

Also that title is cringeworthy. Goddamn.

Her name crossed my mind but I kinda figured she probably wouldn't be involved.

I wonder about Uma Thurman or Lucy Liu do to them being Kill Bill

Sydney Sweeney will do ANYTHING. You can have her participation when you say "direct deposit".

Michelle Rodriguez feels like an obvious pick.

E: Katee Sackhoff, too

There’s a lot of old white guys would like to take advantage of that offer.

PROPELLER ONE-WAY NIGHT COACH

Premiering on Apple TV at the end of the month, John Travolta stars and directs this film, based on his "beloved" children's book about a young child's first flight.

No premiere where I live, so I guess it's not a stinker. Does feature his daughter, Ella Blue, who could be the George Gulas of acting.

Honestly, very hard to hate the guy, but the film is strictly for the little ones.

Curious about the casting for that... Lucy Lawless for starters?

Angela Bassett needs to be in this and needs to be the boss of the whole thing.

But please for the love of God, no Awkwafina.

This is playing at Cannes Film Festival right now and it's getting rough reviews. It's about an hour long.

Someone already tried this and called it The 355. It kinda flopped despite having a lot of promise and a solid cast. Not sure why you would try this again with a project that has such a horrible title.

If you're going to try to do a modern version of The Doll Squad, it might help to watch The Doll Squad. Strike a happy balance between fanservice and mindless violence and you might be onto something.

Cynthia Rothrock is still looking fit these days as are Mila Jovovich and Rhona Mitra. If you suffered through Star Trek: Section 31, you know that Michelle Yeoh has definitely still got it going on. Hire them all.

As for who I'd put on the team:

  1. Charlize Theron
  2. Maggie Q
  3. Lashana Lynch
  4. Ana Di Armas
  5. Kate Beckinsale
  6. Alicia Vikander

If my budget could afford Scarlett Johansson, Zoe Saldana, or Halle Berry, I'd spend the money. Same for Florence Pugh and her perfect comedic timing.

Virginia's own Emmy Raver-Lampman was an awesome villain in The Umbrella Academy so she'd totally be my antagonist. Chiyaki Kuriyama, Fan Bingbing, or Li Bingbing could be her stereotypical evil Asian henchperson.

I wouldn't hire Gina Carano if my career depended on it. If she wants a paycheck, let her sue me for it like she did Disney.

Case in point: the upcoming live-action Gundam movie.

(God that's going to be a piece of hot garbage)

They tried it before that in 2014 when The Expendables series was much hotter. It was called "Mercenaries" and produced by The Asylum, which tells you everything about the quality you need to know.

That lineup *SHOULD* have worked.

And honestly, if any other studio than The Asylum made it it probably would have.

I think I’ve seen an ad for this new Spielberg movie every time I’ve turned on an NBCU property today.

That sounds terrible already. It should be Craig and Smokey meeting back up 20 years later. They run into each other at Costco. Craig has a day off from work, running his own extermination company that has a crew and is a franchised startup (like son, like Pops). Smokey manages to work in corporate America in the IT department (you need weed to manage a network and desktops, trust me from the guys I know). Smokey (or going by his real name I guess Chris to keep it meta) takes a day off too. O'Shea Jackson Jr plays Craig's son and he wants to join his pops in what they will be doing (Craig Jr is studying film at USC a la John Singleton).

It's Friday. They ain't got shit to do. You know the drill.

Spoiler

Oh and Deebo has a son who also appears on a bicycle and Nia Long appears as Debbie while acting snooty towards Craig. She got married to a Silicon Valley millionaire from the same neighborhood.

Yeah, Hope looks insane. Looks more dystopian thriller than horrors, but walking that fine line. Loaded cast too between Korean native stars and notable actors we would know here.

Little Brother

Either John Cena is terrible at picking projects or he did this solely to be "married" to Michelle Monaghan
