Thanks for the tip on this local film. I wasn't so hot on Almost Famous (outside of Hoffman and McDormand as Mom that is), and didn't quite get into the director's previous 'I Like Movies', but curious about this one nonetheless. 

Also, stoked about so many of those films at Cannes. Always and forever in love with the films of Pedro Almodovar. Always excited to see new works from Pawlikowski, Hamaguchi and Kore-eda. I really liked Ira Sachs' Passages, but felt the opposite about Peter Hujar's Diary.  I've yet to see any Cristian Mungiu films, but 4 months, 3 weeks and 2 days continues to sit beside my Blu ray player.

I'm tempting to get Mungiu's Criterion releases at the next sale - I watched and reviewed his 2022 movie R.M.N. earlier in January and was completely engrossed by it.

I actually laughed at the trailer. I force myself to watch Angel Studios dreck (with the hope they can actually make a decent movie), but between that and Animal Farm, I'm tapped out on watching/reviewing Angel Studios movies. No one there should approve any of it for release. 

Hershey looks like a Hallmark movie with the worst lighting I've seen in awhile.

They all look terrible. The Alan Ritchson/Owen Wilson one and the Jeff Daniels as Reagan look like parodies I'd see on Funny or Die. 

There's also one with Zachary Levi and Neal McDonough in a remake of a 1947 Western. It looks awful because neither can act. 

Yeah, I'll be skipping those too.
