Dolfan in NYC Posted December 30, 2025 Posted December 30, 2025 Opening this now because I know I'll forget and someone is probably getting fired before they get back to their office on Sunday. Anywho... No Richmond Webb

Brian Fowler Posted December 30, 2025 Posted December 30, 2025 If this was college football, we would all be screaming about how "Remember week one when the Raiders beat New England? TheΒ Raiders!"

Dolfan in NYC Posted January 2 Author Posted January 2 The NYF Giants are expected to interview Antonio Pierce for their HC job.Β Β This is because they heard @RIPPA had a good holiday season and wanted to make sure he knew they didn't like him.Β 1
RIPPA Posted January 2 Posted January 2 Antonio Pierce is far from the worst name that has been brought up so far The bigger issue is that they are keeping Joe Schoen and he and his "inner circle" are the ones who are going to hire the next coach. At this point - I am praying someone like Stefanski, Tomlin or Harbaugh get fired Which shows you how much I currently hate the state of the Giants

At this point - I am praying someone like Stefanski, Tomlin or Harbaugh get fired Which shows you how much I currently hate the state of the Giants Stefanski is so confusing to me.Β He's one of those coaches who I know knows more about football than me, but he's constantly doing things that I would never do as a coach.Β He also seems to have absolutely no idea whatsoever how to adjust to his personnel.Β Either you can run his offense or you can't.Β Any changes he makes will completely break the offense.Β The entire time he's been coach, the defense has been good to great, but it's also pretty clear that he has absolutely no say on what happens on the defensive side of the ball.Β So, he only has to coach half the team and if it isn't something already in his playbook, he won't be able to add it.Β The crazy part, the offensive personnel doesn't seem to matter that much.Β Baker Mayfield had a good season and a bad season under Stefanski.Β Joe Flacco had a good season and a bad season under Stefanski.Β There seems to be no consistency at all.Β With that said, he's a two time coach of the year and the best Browns Coach since Bill Belichick.Β Β
RIPPA Posted January 4 Posted January 4 Word on the street is that Pete Carroll will be given the chance to retire otherwise he is gonna be fired
Cobra Commander Posted January 4 Posted January 4 if he doesn't retire, he will be snatched and sent to New York for trial 1 1
Gonzo Posted January 5 Posted January 5 (edited) Black Monday is apparently kicking off on Sunday night. They've canned their GM, too, so they're doing a full housecleaning. Edited January 5 by Gonzo
Cobra Commander Posted January 5 Posted January 5 Falcons not even waiting for the end of football today to make their moves
RIPPA Posted January 5 Posted January 5 Arthur Black says the Falcons will be hiring a new βpresident of operations from outside the organizationβ Many people believe that person will be Matt Ryan
Dolfan in NYC Posted January 5 Author Posted January 5 Miami had its big year end autopsy/meeting with Mike McDaniel, the owner, (interim) GM, VP of football ops, and of course Dan Marino.Β No word quite yet on how it turned out, but apparently Marino left in a huff halfway through.Β Β Β Right now, I'm thinking it's a coinflip as to who stays/who goes down there. But, I'm guessing at least a few people are packing their stuff as we speak.Β Also, I'll just say, I wouldn't beΒ veryΒ upset if Stefanski's running the D next year.Β Β
RIPPA Posted January 5 Posted January 5 It should be noted that the Colts are expected to run it back and every one gets to keep their jobs Also - the whispers are getting louder from the local folks that the big reason Joe Schoen is getting to keep his job as Giants GM is because John Mara's cancer is way worse than is being reported and they are trying to minimize instability (if possible)
