The NFL has denied DK Metcalf's appeal and he'll sit the final two games.

This also means he'll forfeit the rest of his salary (~$500k), but more importantly this also voids all of his future guarantees ($40m+)

Good lord, the Detroit offense has been awful today. 6 turnovers. 

Honestly, when the session started, I looked at the schedule abs thought "they could finish 8-9 this year" and it's looking like that's going to happen. 15-2 last year, last place this this year. 

Get healthy, get some help on the OL, and they'll be fine. But, man, this has been a disaster.

To circle back - apparently after the Post story came out (and Pat McAfee caught word and started laying into them) - the Jets flip flopped and said the fan could try to the kick

I would say no team has ever self-inflicted itself with so many miscues but we used to have a Dan Snyder dumpster fire thread
