Dolfan in NYC Posted December 1, 2025 Posted December 1, 2025 When you were young and your heart was an open book... You used to say, "Live and let live" Survivor Series '25 is in the books and... We have a NEW Men's Intercontinental Champion! And he's got his old flame in tow! But if this ever-changing world in which we're livin', makes you give in and cry... In the WarGames though... the faces were successful on the women's side, and the heels were on the men's side! Here's Paul Heyman celebrating with a fan! Say live and let die! Live and let die! Live and let die! Live and let die! Alright, so that's all done... the build begins to Cena Goes Bye Bye! Let's see how it goes... (Rewatched this a few years ago. It does and does not hold up. But then again, this movie does have an inflated sense about itself.) Enjoy your week!
odessasteps Posted December 1, 2025 Posted December 1, 2025 Push might even betoostrong a descriptor. how can you hate a movie where Bond runs across a row of alligators? 1
The Natural Posted December 1, 2025 Posted December 1, 2025 Live and Let Die is still the best James Bond opening titles theme song. 1

"Fellow GOAT" made me chuckle a bit. I hope I'm not the only one who was hoping to see my boy Axl at the end of your post. (My dumb ass once almost got into a fight for shouting out "Axl Rose with the corn rows" before singing that version at karaoke. Apparently the guy I was talking about knew he looked like Axl with corn rows, but really, if you know it, don't be upset, amirite?)
username Posted December 2, 2025 Posted December 2, 2025 Yeah heel/heel matches are usually tough sledding but they definitely figured it out. Face/face matches are usually easier to manage and... well hey the heel/heel match went very well >_>
Eivion Posted December 2, 2025 Posted December 2, 2025 Opening segment was nothing special, but it did it's jo in setting up RHIYO as an official team alongside the main event with them vs. Charlotte/Alexa. Jey/Knight was pretty solid. The two work surprisingly well together. Only thing that could have gone better was the finish. Was fine with the crowd buying into it, but it could have been smoother in execution. The Judgement Day segment was a nice establishment of Liv being back and the group back to full strength. AJ/Dragon vs. New Day was damn good with a finish that was amazingly perfect. Gunther/Solo built into something shockingly good with the crowd being decently hot by the end despite not loving either guy. Wasn't sure how this would go as a heel vs. heel match, but it worked out well with the two focused on each other instead of wrestling for crowd reactions per say. The crowd dug the action a good bit by the halfway point, and I think Solo came out of this looking good despite the loss. Charlotte/Alexa vs. Rhiyo started slow, but built into something rather solid-good by the end. The non-finish was predictable, but Bayley, Lyra, and the women's side of Judgement day showing up added some nice chaos. Was pleased to see Liv and co. standing tall at the end. Thought this was solid-good wrestling wise. Could always use another match, but we never got less than solid. The tag titles match and Gunther/Solo were both pretty darn good and well worth checking out. Solo/Gunther might be my favorite match form this Cena tournament. story wise the show was decent. Bron/Punk for the title was a sensible setup, and Bron's promo later in the night had some great fire. Even with flubs it might be one of his better ones. Judgement Day getting established as a threat again was nice to see and also helped further set up direction for the women's division on Raw at the end. Dug the show overall. 1
Swift Posted December 2, 2025 Posted December 2, 2025 Was very surprised by that Gunther and Solo match. Definitely wasn't expecting such a hot crowd and duelling chants for both of them. That finish between Styles, Lee and Kingston was amazing. Came off perfectly. No idea where they go with Jey Uso from here. Feel like he's already had multiple moments of self doubt in the past year or so. 4
Steventon Posted December 2, 2025 Posted December 2, 2025 (edited) Yea that gunther vs solo match was surprisingly fucking good. solo is pretty capable when not being used like a total geek and gunther can of course carry ‘capable’ Edited December 2, 2025 by Steventon
HumanChessgame Posted December 2, 2025 Posted December 2, 2025 Gunther is one of the best guys in WWE right now and can have a good match with just about anyone, but Solo did his share of the lifting there too. That had to be one of the better "surprisingly good matches from a guy who is normally a slug" matches I've seen in a while.

Johnny Sorrow Posted December 2, 2025 Posted December 2, 2025 That Natty/ Maxine training video was dope. I really liked this RAW a ton. 2
hammerva Posted December 2, 2025 Posted December 2, 2025 (edited) The fact that people are losing their minds at the finish of Styles and Dragon Lee really just cracks me up because part of me wants just to grab them and "you love that. Well you could have seen that finish and many more like that years ago if you got out of your bubble" The Maxine workout segment only works if we are getting Nattie instead of Natalya. The fans seems to be interested in what Nattie Neidhart can do in the WWE. The fans have given up on Natalya a long time ago Edited December 2, 2025 by hammerva

odessasteps Posted December 2, 2025 Posted December 2, 2025 I know Naylor posted AJ doing something similar in ROH years ago obv.
peterien Posted December 2, 2025 Posted December 2, 2025 That Styles clash was very well done. I don’t get the praise for the Breakker promo. It didn’t happen on RAW but the “run it back” Yeet thing is one of the most annoying things I’ve seen in wrestling. Happening in the middle of war games instead of actual war was certainly a choice.
Curt McGirt Posted December 2, 2025 Posted December 2, 2025 Naylor not only posting that but having the match and show named would not surprise me haha That was extremely baller but also extremely dangerous. Kofi can jump really high but not off his head.
SirFozzie Posted December 3, 2025 Posted December 3, 2025 I guess Ethan Page needs cialis, because he suffered a prime case of... (puts on glasses) a reptile dysfunction. (All together now... "DAMNiT FOZ!") 1 2 1
Eivion Posted December 3, 2025 Posted December 3, 2025 Opening segment was an alright setup for the later six-women tag. Arianna/Thea was fine for its intentions. Briggs/Tavion had a lot of nice action and moments. Still never felt like they truly managed to get the crowd behind Tavion so much as the usual hating of Briggs. Sol/Lola/Kendal vs. Fatal Influence was good. FI continues to show good chemistry and work well as a unit while the faces got in decent showcases. The post match with Zaria murking Kendal was surprising. They are definitely building towards a heel turn for Zaria though a part of me still hopes they do a reconciliation before it gets that bad. Uriah/Kale vs. OTM was a nice little showcase for the Chase U guys. They showed a ton here opposed to the squash OTM gave them previously. OTM was a bit too loose compared to their norm though still decent. Je'Von/Slater/Hendry/Myles vs. DarkState was a bit uneven with a decent amount of good action but also some more toned down action from DS who didn't quite have their usual level of intensity (mostly Dion). Still made for a solid match with Je'Von picking his spots to look great and a nice smaller story of Myles stealing the final pin. The women's tag match was MOTN for me though I enjoyed the other tags a good deal and found Tavion/Briggs to be interesting. Story wise this was alright in delivering the final touches and build for Deadline. Given the last minute additions to the PLE it does feel like they should have waited one more week for breathing room, but I assume they didn't want the show to be overshadowed by Cena's retirement next SNME.
Shartnado Posted December 5, 2025 Posted December 5, 2025 That was quite the promo from Izzy Dame. She made perfect sense while still coming off like an absolute jerk and I'm SO ready for Tatum making Dame feel all of her pain! The team of Kendal Grey, Lola Vice and Sol Ruca seemed very formidable but WTF Zaria? I mean one of you was going to turn on the other sooner or later but there's no reason for you to take it out on poor Kendal! What did she ever do, besides be awesome?! 2

Glad that Gunther won in the end. I was actually worried there for a moment or two, when the interference started to go down.

Eivion Posted December 6, 2025 Posted December 6, 2025 (edited) The opening with Drew and Cody was solid. Ilja/Hayes was damn good as expected with the crowd really pulling for Hayes. If it wasn't for Tama's likely winning of the title I would say Hayes would be the perfect guy to take the belt off of Ilja. Alexa/Kairi was shockingly solid with the two working far better with each other than expected. The post match saw the war for the women's tga titles continue with Lash and Nia attacking both the Kabuki Warriors & CharLexa. Alba/Jade was a nothing match meant more to push an angle with Giulia attacking Chelsea while Alba gets murked by Jade. Solo's promo started off and ended on a solid note with him pushing boundaries with Howdy. Dug the brawl with the Wyatts and MFTs that took place after. Still dumb to me that they cooled this one a bit instead of ramping it up for War Games. Missed the first minute or so of Gunther/Knight, but what I caught built into a fine match with Knight probably having one of his best matches in WWE. Loved the post match with Gunther confirming his plans to be the first to tap out John Cena. Only 3 real matches, but all three were worth a watch. Gunther/Knight was probably MOTN, but Hayes/Ilja was pretty damn good. Story wise what we saw was decent. I would call this a solid episode if we at least had one more real match. Getting 3 and a squash in with 2 hours is just too little. The segment and promo side need to go a lot harder to make up for it. Edited December 6, 2025 by Eivion 1
