San Diego is a weird ass town. I don't really have much more to say about it, but it's the least & most "California" place in that entire state.  I wish I could explain myself more there.

Well, I suppose it's as good a place as any to go to war...

LIVE FROM PETCO PARK, IT'S SURVIVOR SERIES!

THE CARD~

THE 46TH WARGAMES MATCH - CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso & Roman Reigns vs. The Vision (Breakker / Reed / Paul) , Drew McIntyre & Brock Lesnar

THE 47TH WARGAMES MATCH - Rhea Ripley, Iyo Sky, Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss & AJ Lee vs. Nia Jax, Lash Legend, The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka / Sane) & Rebecca Lynch

FOR THE WOMEN'S WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP - Stephanie Vaquer (c) vs. Nikki Bella

FOR THE MEN'S INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP - John Cena (c) vs. Dom Mysterio

--

I'm just spitballing here, but I'm all but certain the two male faces are An Uso and Leopold Augustus Knight. Which would make the heels An Uso & I dunno maybe Al Black?   (EDIT 11/18 -- ugh.)

  • Dolfan in NYC changed the title to SURVIVOR SERIES XXXIX: WARGAMES - 11/29/2025

The writing is terrible.  This year's War Games has basically the same exact setup as last year.  I like Survivor Series.  Always have.  I like War Games.  But creative is in a terrible slump.

Dominik Mysterio: "The fans feel sympathetic towards the elderly, so when they see John come out they can not believe someone was able to check him out of his home and bring him to the arenas safely without breaking any bones.”

"Every time they see John Cena, they are like, wow, we don’t know if this is gonna be the last time because, you know, at 75 years old."

Dominik Mysterio is the best.

He is definitely one of the last few genuinely watchable things on WWE programming at the moment.

Dominik Mysterio so gets it. Great character work. Future WWE Champion. He'll be joining his deadbeat Dad, Rey Mysterio. Amazing how far he's progressed.

I continue to be confused as to why some of you watch these shows knowing damn well there is zero chance of you enjoying them.

Hope there's an exception to the rule? To be pleasantly surprised? I skipped the show as I pick and choose what to watch. I wasn't watching a WarGames with two real life POS in Brock Lesnar and Logan Paul.

I wasn't talking about you. You actually watch with that in mind. Plenty of others pretty blatantly watch with none of those intentions in mind, and its just comes across as weird.
