Dolfan in NYC Posted November 10, 2025 Author Posted November 10, 2025 Yeah, but as part of the game, you'll see them going to different sites in the European town they're in. It's almost forced tourism. Having been to Madrid though... I mean I'm sure it's a lovely place to be, but outside of a few plazas and churches. Eh. (and they're certainly not going to the areas I went to at night)
RIPPA Posted November 10, 2025 Posted November 10, 2025 Rob Gronkowski - who apparently never officially retired - is signing a one day contract with the Patriots and will officially retire on Wednesday
RIPPA Posted November 10, 2025 Posted November 10, 2025 Just now, Pete said: The four-letter says Daboll is out. Wow... he is indeed Mike Kafka is getting an audition the rest of the season as interim HC 1
RIPPA Posted November 10, 2025 Posted November 10, 2025 I should note that a lot of chatter the last couple of weeks has been that Daboll would lose his job but Joe Schoen would keep his Sure looks like Schoen will get to pick the next HC

As long as he goes 9-8 he doesn't even have to make the playoffs to keep his job. Doesn't help that the Ravens are starting to warm up If season ticket renewals start to drop in December and January, Tomlin will legit be on the hot seat. In 1991 a bunch of people not renewing was the biggest factor in Chuck Noll being asked to retire, same thing would have happened to Cower in 2000 if they didn't finish out the season 4-1.
Dolfan in NYC Posted November 10, 2025 Author Posted November 10, 2025 The Athletic is saying part of what pushed him out was Daboll being "reckless" with Dart. Specifically when he went to the tent a few weeks ago when Dart clearly got his bell rung. 1

The local guys were saying last week that the one thing that would get Daboll shown the door during the season would be Dart getting hurt And not only did he get hurt again - it came out his was his 4th concussion of the season already Oh and blowing their 4th game where they had a double digit lead didn't help 1
BobbyWhioux Posted November 10, 2025 Posted November 10, 2025 The New York Giants awoke one AM Practice to find themselves transformed into a giant cockroach. 1

If you decide to play your quarterback of the future like a fullback, and he's not named Cam Newton, you're probably going to get fired.

He should be shut down for the season. 3

I slightly mistyped that - it was the 4th time he was evaluated for concussion He is in concussion protocol after this latest one - I am not sure if he went into the protocol any of the other times 1
Craig H Posted November 10, 2025 Posted November 10, 2025 Part of me wonders if players are finding a way to use smelling salts to get past concussion protocol even though they're currently banned. Seems like something you could still sneak in somehow and I don't think there's a way to test if they were used, but I also don't know what the penalty is if they're used.

RIPPA Posted November 10, 2025 Posted November 10, 2025 Washington is making a change as Dan Quinn is taking over as DC Joe Whitt apparently isn't fired and will still be on the staff
Brian Fowler Posted November 10, 2025 Posted November 10, 2025 Backing up a bit, but that was kinda the premise of the Ozzy and Jack World Detour show a few years back. Ozzy had been all over the world a dozen times over but had never seen anything but tour buses, hotels, and arenas (well, and the Alamo that one time...)
dogwelder Posted November 10, 2025 Posted November 10, 2025 Way early, but this will make Rippa's head explode:
RIPPA Posted November 11, 2025 Posted November 11, 2025 Jason Garrett being on that list is another reminder that Vegas knows there are stupid people with too much disposable income

Dolfan in NYC Posted November 11, 2025 Author Posted November 11, 2025 As an FYI, these guys are the longest tenured Dolphins employees. In particular, Hunt was hired by Don Shula.
