BTW I remember when last year's C2 ended and I complained about Beast Mortos losing every single match being told by some that the exposure of it and having good showings would be rewarded with something and he'd be better off for it.

They were very very wrong 😞

Harley Cameron has provided an important medical update on Mini Moné following AEW Blood & Guts:

"She actually left that match unharmed. She was more harmed a few weeks prior when she went face first into a cake. The cake incident was more of a recovery. She luckily didn’t take too much of a beating in the Blood & Guts. I unfortunately can’t say the same."

Harley Cameron is the best. Please put a belt on her, Tony Khan.

I love Beast as much as anybody, but to me nearly every match he's in continues to build his following. Unfortunately, the gimmick just isn't something that belongs anywhere near the top. The fact that he has a chain hanging from his mask kinda tells the story - when did it become legal to headbutt an opponent with a chain on your head? Promo-wise - I think the grunting has hit a ceiling. I'm not generally speaking into unmasking luchadores, but if ever there was a case to be made it's Beast. The man is clearly one of the best bell to bell wrestlers in the company - having a top level presentation and gimmick are what he needs more than wins. That said, I know it's semi-blasphemous thinking.

Well, I don't know anyone else in that match that had to hide a pair of brass knuckles inside themselves, so Mini Mone definitely took one for the team, let's not Kid ourselves for a moment!

I can respect that opinion, I just think it is criminal he's hanging out around the very bottom.

To be fair to Mortos, working those matches in AEW has made his stock rise in CMLL, where over the last week he headlined a handful of shows.  Keep in mind, when he was still working AAA a couple years ago, he was curtain jerking and eating pins to guys like Laredo Kid.

Last Friday, Arena Mexico: Komander & Místico b Bárbaro Cavernario & The Beast Mortos

Saturday Arena Coliseo: Komander & The Beast Mortos b Atlantis Jr. & Difunto

Sunday, Arena Mexico: Gran Guerrero © b The Beast Mortos [CMLL HEAVY]

Monday in Puebla: Ángel de Oro & Máscara Dorada b Komander & The Beast Mortos [Relevos Increíbles]

Welp, time to add another shirt to the pile.

What was the DEAN one? This one without the barbed wire? Thanks.

We really need a Survival Tobita Tribute match, and Lee Moriarty vs folks in Pure Rules matches who you wouldn't think would be great in those types of matches but would be.  MVP comes to mind.

It was the DVDR Ken the Box shirt that had the board name on the back and Action Dean/Segunda Caida's logos.

I would imagine the chains on beast's face are similar to The Headbanger's ear to nose piercings attached with a chain. Beast's nostrils and ears are somewhat larger so they would also require a larger chains. If he is willing to take the risk of someone yanking those chains to force a submission, then he should be allowed to wear them. Also, I was under the impression he already unmasked by taking off the Black Taurus mask and this is what he was hiding underneath it.

Ha, that’s a great comparison, but that is a necklace chain versus a thick looking industrial chain. Unless I’m forgetting? The bangers chain would potentially be a hazard, but Beast’s chain is attached to his mask, and more of a potential advantage or  ‘international object’ if you will.

But are we absolutely sure it's a mask, not his actual face?
