Speaking of Eddie, did anyone catch the part in One Battle After Another where:

Spoiler

There's a kid in Sensei's apartment complex wearing an Eddie Guerrero t-shirt, and Del Toro says, "Hey, Latino Heat! Come over here."

Gonna be some mad cosplay going on.

I mean Dom’s already ripping off the man’s whole flow, bar for bar.  What can anyone else do?

I really hate 2010s WWE because the commentary actively ruins great matches like the two World title matches between Punk and Danielson. It’s mainly because Booker T is on commentary and he sucked then and he sucks now.

I find Hendry to be enjoyable in small doses so this got a chuckle out of me.  Plus, I now know what that pic of Bret was all about that Natural tagged me in recently because I was pretty confused.

That said, somebody channel Archer with all that phrasing going on.

Pitching the “LA Knight loses his voice due to injury” Bubba Ray idea for Joe Hendry.

Although “heel gets so mad about a parody song that he seriously injures Hendry” probably won’t get as much heat as Bubba thinks

Thinking about CM Punk as the current WWE World Heavyweight Champion got me thinking about who were older than he is (47).

I have a serious question. Do you think Punk considers this as a real World title win. Sure the WWE Title is The Main men's title but Punk was the same person that felt that if he wasn't Closing WrestleMania regardless if he was Champ or not it wasn't the main event.

I know certain circles podcasters and such call the WHC a fake world title because it was only conceived because Roman Reigns as Champ considerably cut down his schedule when they were still running houseshows and all the full time roster was working atleast once a week on tv.

I'm sure it does count for something that CM Punk holding the top Raw title but do you think Punk himself sees that title as important as he wants us to think he does? Thats his job to make the title seem important but Seth did a good job during his first run making it important and Gunther too but most the other title runs just seem like it's given to people that are super over but not over enough to put the main title on. That title was the workhorse title but now even full-time wrestlers don't work every week. Even now most champions are averaging  Reigns of close to a year and would be lucky if they defend their given titles on TV atleast once a month

Someone at PWI almost pitched “Mercedes as the Riddler and Toni as Two-Face” for those photos. (Those looks just had a comic book villains look to them)

I was thinking more 'Maltese Falcon'

I can't really speak for another person, but if you're in your late 40s and know your career is winding down and this is more or less your last chance to be featured on national TV, you're probably just good with whatever as long as the ACH deposit hits. The guy who was letting out all his frustration on that podcast with Colt is gone and has been for a while.

Re: Is Punk okay with holding the 1B Wish.com world title…

Is Punk okay with main eventing night one after making fun of the idea?

Is Punk okay with wrestling in Saudi after claiming moral superiority over others who did it?

Self-delusion is a hell of a thing.

Half of Punk’s World title reigns in WWE or something like that were with the “lesser” title. Plus his last thing in AEW was all about carrying around a fake World title.

I have no opinion on this though since the Jey match was terrible and I’m definitely not interested in a fucking Logan Paul feud.

reading through some stuff on Findagrave and finding out that Scott Hall's mother did graduate from High School in Cuba (on the Guantanamo Bay Base since her father was in the Navy).. see, Scott Hall did have a tie to Cuba for the Razor Ramon gimmick all this time. Hall is buried in St. Mary's City, MD.

Scott Hall's grandfather also lived to 101 and is buried at Arlington National Cemetery

St Mary’s came up the other day, bc someone asked if there were any other cities named Sunderland. There’s one in MD between st Mary’s and Annapolis.

To me, the fact that Cena's storyline was that he was going to ruin wrestling by taking the "real" world title with him when he retires shows what the WWE thinks of the other title.

Two “world” titles is so dumb.  The Super Bowl loser can’t call themselves the winner of the Superior Bowl or whatever.

I get the idea in theory when the rosters are truly separate from each other. Don’t laugh, it happens every few years! But when Cody or Punk or whoever just willy nilly appears on the other show (IE Smackdown in Chicago for AJ Lee’s return despite Becky, Seth and Punk all being on RAW) it makes less sense.

but, also, like… just have Cody be on both shows and get rid of the other title. Have the IC and US titles be the top thing on the shows most of the time while the World title is busy on whichever other show. He wants to be that guy, well that’s the pitfalls of being that guy in WWE.

Said this before but that's the world title I'd always want to win as that's the oldest world title in WWE with all the historic names: Sammartino, Backlund, Fk Hogan, Savage, Flair, Bret Hart, Undertaker, Austin, Rock etc.

Summed it better than I could. Cheers.

I see both sides here, more so Technico Support. I prefer one world title, one world champion for that reason but I'm more open to two world titles only if the brand split is strictly enforced like it was from 2002-2008. Again to reiterate, I'd prefer just the one world title to two.

That was the idea in the original brand split, but then HHH needed a Being Triple H World Title.  All blame for bad ideas typically goes back to Triple H.  Or Cody.  🤣

they could always re-activate the Universal Title like that period of time in 2023 when there were technically three top titles.

or maybe take a cue from post-NWA WCW and create a World Title recognized by "WWE International".
