would Kevin Gausman get inducted into the Hall of Innings-Eaters?

Quite the argument about what that would even look like these days. They pointed out during the CIN/LA games that 50% of games in 2010 had 100-pitch outings and now only 12% do. Never mind going as far back as the 60s and 70s.

Definitely makes the Hall of Guys Baltimore Stupidity Traded, though, along with Jake Arrieta.

Arrieta had a 5.46 ERA in four years with Baltimore, including a 7.23 ERA at age 27 in his partial season with them in 2013.  Baltimore was lucky to get a pair of shoelaces in return for him.  That he magically found himself in Chicago shouldn't be held against Baltimore.

I mean, of course the this team feasts on garbage-time pitching but can't hit water if they fell out of a boat when it actually matters.

The fact that this keeps growing almost every year is annoyingly frustrating to be an Os fan sometimes.  I'd rather not look back at that unless I feel like being in a salty mood for a while.

Phillies trying everything they can to wake up that lineup:

FS2 is supposedly in 50 million homes (although I'd be surprised if it ever drew 500k for anything) but Mariners/Tigers is also on MLBN... which is actually in less homes than FS2

1 more for this series, guys. LFG.

Jesus. And the guy who caught the Raleigh HR ball had a "Dump Here 61" shirt... Then, after catching it, TOOK THE DAMN SHIRT OFF and had "Dump Here 62" under that.

I had to say something. Leave Caleb Ferguson off the ALCS roster, please.

Mr. Regular Season FINALLY hits a big HR when it means something in the Post Season.

Today is the last day where there will be 4 games

  • Seattle at Detroit - 3:08 PM (EST)
  • Milwaukee at Chicago Cubs - 5:08 PM (EST)
  • Toronto at NY Yankees - 7:08 PM (EST)
  • Philadelphia at LA Dodgers - 9:08 PM (EST)

It is currently raining in NY but it, theoretically, should be fine for game time

This is just a gigantic klaxon and flashing light to avoid driving through the Bronx like the fucking plague during rush hour tonight.
