I'm also running on Firefox, everything is working except image embedding.

When you feel like it, could you tell me the process of how you're trying to embed the image. Like are you right clicking on it and just hitting copy image or are you copying the text from the address bar? And when you paste it into this text editor is there an error that comes up? Have you tried the Other Media button, which is that button on the bottom right above the submit reply button.

This may be a caching issue that may sort itself out for you. Or it may be that website doesn't like it's content getting posted elsewhere. There's lots of reasons and I'm just trying to narrow it down. No pressure to get back to me, I just want everything to work for everyone.

Right click and "Copy image" is what always works for me.

Anyway I forgot to tag @jaedmc and there we go. It rotates for a little while but came up. The pictures coming up when you put in a link is working faster too, they took a sec initially.

It works!  I typically find an image, right-click it and select "Open image in new tab," just to make sure it actually ends in a file extension like jpg or png first.  Then I copy the image's url and paste it into the reply box.

What used to happen was, as soon as I pasted, the whole screen would rapidly scroll back to the top of the thread and my post would be lost.

I've tried three different ways:
1) Copying and pasting the image link via right clicking
2) Copying and pasting the image link via CTRL+V
3) Attempting the "Insert image from URL" button, which does nothing but gray out the screen

Edit: It's working now, somehow...you're right to be confused Titus!

I'm thinking it was a cache issue. I'm glad it's working now.

I love how Curt always reads the board

It is like each independent thread is its out vacuum

I don't get it... I mean, I don't read everything. Not even anything in this thread, unless necessary.

Well, just trying to help anyway

Also, that had been pissing me off a long, loooooong time which is why I was so excited

Gifs work. Dailymotion works when you are pasting links in the posting box, but doesn't when the post goes through.

Shocked to find embedding a YouTube video worked for me today. Previously it hadn't for a while. Thank you for fixing this.

Replying to this thread since it's the most current one...I haven't been on here too much lately because it's been really slow.  Is anyone else experiencing this?  I've tried it on Chrome and Firefox on my laptop, both at home and at work.  I've also tried on my phone on Firefox Focus, on my home network, other places, and cellular.  Same behavior everywhere.  Getting to the site and navigating it takes a loooooong time.  Thanks!

Yeah. I'd like to eventually figure out what is causing the slow load time. I don't know if it's file structure, our servers, or Invision. It's something I'll eventually dig into but I'll need to smarten myself up a little more before I do.

It goes in waves for me. It'll be working fine for a while, then I'll to do something else, and it'll take forever or even just not load. Then it'll be fine again. No obvious pattern or specific times I've noticed.
