TNA iMPACT - Airing August 21, 2025 from Baltimore, MD

*TNA Champ Trick Williams opened the show with a promo. Mike Santana interrupted and promised to beat Trick for the title whether it's here or NXT. Trick said no to Santana getting another title shot. Santino Marella interrupted and said that Santana does deserve another title shot. Santino started to announce it but Trick interrupted and says his lawyer told him he has 50 days until he has to defend again. Trick said he was doing Santana a favor, so he doesn't get embarrassed in front of his family again. Santana then chased Trick from the ring.

*Jody Threat won a knockouts gauntlet to become #1 contender (23:00)
-Xia Brookside eliminated Killer Kelly with the Brooksy Bomb
-Dani Luna eliminated Xia Brookside after the Luna Landing
-Dani Luna eliminated Rosemary after the Luna Landing
-Indi Hartwell eliminated Dani Luna with a victory roll reversal. Afterwards, Dani turned heel and attacked Indi. Jody Threat was the final entrant, so Dani hit her to cause a DQ and cost Indi, then attacked Indi with a steel chair.

*Ryan Nemeth came out and announced that his big brother Nic would return from suspension in 2 weeks. 

*Frankie Kazarian def. Jake Something (5:52) after the Fade to Black

*Jacy Jayne came out for a promo. Ash by Elegance interrupted and said it should be just her vs Jacy at NXT Heatwave on Sunday. Masha Slamovich interrupted and promised to beat them both. 

*Order 4 (Mustafa Ali, Jason Hotch, & John Skyler w/ Tasha Steelz & Agent Zero) def. Moose, Brian Myers, & Matt Cardona (w/ Alisha Edwards) (10:46) when Skyler pinned Myers with The Favor after Ali used a low blow while Tasha distracted the ref. After the match, Order 4 continued the beatdown. JDC ran out for the save but got taken out by Agent Zero while Ali's secret service held Moose down and made him watch.

the knockouts gauntlet was a solid use of the first hour and the other two matches were pretty good.  Liked the Jacy/Ash/Masha promo building up Heatwave, Jacy has been excellent as double champ.
