I believe that's what was going on directly behind the commentators as they were introducing the PPV. They acknowledged something was happening, but you couldn't see much. 1

Read the results and watched a recap video, so i'm fairly glad i didn't force myself to stay awake until 1am to watch them. but hey, the ~3 hours i watched for had 5 of 6 fights end in a finish, so i'll take it! plus on the earlies, Gerald Meershart lost so that's a bonus (i don't know why, but i just don't like that guy) 2
jaedmc Posted November 22, 2025 Posted November 22, 2025 Waldo-Cortes off the plane wins in the first, says he wants December 13th for 6 fights in one year. That's one way to get in the heavyweight title picture.
Elsalvajeloco Posted November 22, 2025 Author Posted November 22, 2025 There are already a bunch of KOs on this Qatar card PLUS Kyoji Horiguchi getting his first UFC win in nine years almost to the day.

Jack Hermanson was maybe the worst looking one because it was a graze off the ear and he went into different dimension. I don't know if cutting down to Welterweight is a great idea for him. 1
jaedmc Posted November 22, 2025 Posted November 22, 2025 okay stop playing games with this dude for dropping out of the Islam fight, and let's get Topuria vs. Tsarukyan. 1
jaedmc Posted December 7, 2025 Posted December 7, 2025 Tonight's card has been really really good. Some exciting finishes. Henry Cejudo gave it everything he had, but time is not kind to even the best athletes. And Tatsuro Taira "finished" Brandon Moreno in the second so I've got another Japanese fighter to root for in a title fight. Maybe he'll be the one. Joshua Van walking out like he's supposed to be there, and I still can't believe how he got here.
jaedmc Posted December 7, 2025 Posted December 7, 2025 whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat ewww that arm break on replay a hundred times. Poor Pantoja. 1
waffle Posted December 7, 2025 Posted December 7, 2025 I hate to see that for Pantoja. He seemed to really have hit his stride the last few fights. Van now is the second youngest UFC champion behind Jones. Wild stuff. 1
jaedmc Posted December 7, 2025 Posted December 7, 2025 Fight of the Year? One of the all time great performances from Petr Yan to be sure. 2
Elsalvajeloco Posted December 7, 2025 Author Posted December 7, 2025 How fast can we get the third fight?
waffle Posted December 7, 2025 Posted December 7, 2025 Yan with one of the best performances I've seen in the sport. Incredible stuff. Loved how he was elbowing the arms on the waist lock. 1
The Natural Posted December 7, 2025 Posted December 7, 2025 Sucks seeing Pantoja's UFC Flyweight Championship reign end on a freak injury so soon into the fight. Didn't see that performance from Petr Yan regaining the UFC Bantamweight Championship from Merab. Yan had some bad luck since dropping the belt, first to ever lose it in UFC history by DQ.

Never once changed that opinion. We've also got @DreamBroken. Amazing what Cruz accomplished while sad he lost so many years due to injuries. 1
The Natural Posted December 7, 2025 Posted December 7, 2025 Yan's liver kick in R3 was nasty. The sound it made.

jaedmc Posted December 14, 2025 Posted December 14, 2025 The Vallejos knock out of Giga Chikadze tonight was nasty, but the elbows after were wooooorse.
