I'm going to this, and it's a good card, but a shit Forbidden Door card so far. I know the G1 gives them no time to build, but I want my weirdo crossover matches. Hobbs vs Oiwa, Tsuji vs Shane Taylor, Darby vs Narita, Starlight Kid vs Queen Aminata... Fuck storylines, I want unique, mad bullshit that WWE can't do.

I want to meet the person who actually thinks Lee Moriarty has a chance of winning that match. That’s a pretty grim looking contenders match for the IWGP title. Was Kip Sabian busy or something?

Has to be IWGP World Heavyweight Championship: Zack Sabre Jr (c)  vs. Nigel McGuinness out of the four as both are English and where Forbidden Door's at. I was hoping for an AEW main eventer instead.

But for real he absolutely needs to be one day and I'm not saying that because I'm super high on him and STP (which I am)  My hope is he starts going on AEW full time after losing the Pure title and with the right feud get some momentum.  Not unreasonable to think in a year's time at most he can be be defending the TNT title.

Of the four I'm glad it's Nigel as it's bucket list stuff for him and him against ZSJ should be great stuff.  If not for him I was hoping it would have been Hechicero though.

Although ZSJr vs Nigel makes the most sense (two English blokes in the O2), but ZSJr and Hechicero have had some real bangers.  I can see a scenario where we get both ZSJr vs Hechicero and Nigel vs Garcia...

I get that trying to time an event like this is super difficult but I dunno man, hard to get excited when To Be Determined is booked for at least 3 matches.

Well I never expected Hiroshi Tanahashi/Kenny Omega/Kota Ibushi/Will Ospreay/Darby Allin vs. Death Riders/Young Bucks/Gabe Kidd in a Lights Out Steel Cage match. AEW billing it as a Lights Out Steel Cage match so has to go on last plus the prep setting the cage and weapons up as well. Has to be the Dogpound Cage Match recently introduced in NJPW, right?

I didn't see AEW TNT Champion Kyle Fletcher defending vs. Hiromu Takahashi either.

Cope and Cage's first tag team match should have been saved for All In in Canada. Doesn't need to be here.

Forbidden Door is going to be a long PPV, four hours plus I think.

Yeah this card looks so good on paper. There's not a lot of Forbidden Doorness for it being Forbidden Door. But I dont even care. This show looks really good.

Feels so good to see a PPV at a great time over here. FYI main card starts at 6pm. Curfew at 10:30pm. I'd start the main card at 5pm incase of time management issues. This is a loaded card so that's crucial.

Was finally able to scrape together enough Google Play points in order to get the price of the PPV down to 16e, so I bought it late last night. Not super excited about the card, although it sure has some big matches that should be pretty awesome. Was surprised about the winner of the technical spectacle, but I suppose it makes sense in a dream match kinda way.

Wait, this should be available at a reasonable hour over here, too! Still, I will most likely wait until the next morning to watch it.
