I have heard this called the MLB version of Fyter Fest which is unfair because at least there was a pre game.    The best part was the Fox people talking about the game while the monitors are clearly saying it has been suspended

I get the notion of expanding everyone's idea of where baseball happens, but I wonder why they'd do it by hitching themselves to a sport that's been half-dead for over a decade.

Then again, the Frances and NASCAR are probably delusional enough to think that way about MLB.

Boonie is signed through the 2027 season. I don't see Hal making a change until Boone's contract is up, like Girardi, especially if the Yankees still make the playoffs.
