Ending it 15 months into a 2-year deal is really weird; I presume there must have been a clause that would allow either side to kill it under certain circumstances, but since it was a minimal effort to produce my instinct is that X would have canceled it to save the money rather than WWE saving the two to five people-hours. Unless (puts on tinfoil hat) they decided to cut X out of the equation to keep Paul on good terms with the federal government
TheVileOne Posted August 5 Posted August 5 What's ironic is Mattel just revealed a new Andrade figure with his WWE Speed Title as an accessory at Comic-Con. 1
Dolfan in NYC Posted August 5 Author Posted August 5 Karrion Kross & Scarlett's have not signed the WWE's offered contracts. Their contracts run out at the end of the week. (So when Killer Kross shows up on Dynamite next week, try to look surprised.) 1
Dolfan in NYC Posted August 6 Author Posted August 6 Okay hold on, cause I just got to the office and this is a big enough thing to do it's own thread.
Casey Posted August 6 Posted August 6 (edited) every day I see more and more why Punk likes Bret Hart so much. They're both dicks lol. EDIT: also the chairman of Saudi Arabia's sportswashing thing is hinting that WrestleMania is coming to Saudi in 2027 Edited August 6 by Casey

Ironic that Bl00d Money shows go out a great time, 6pm in the UK compared to the early hours when in America but I still don't watch them. I'll stop here. Edited August 6 by The Natural

EVA Posted August 6 Posted August 6 Bret has always hated chops, and I have always assumed he disliked Gunther for exactly that reason. 2

Phantom Lord Posted August 7 Posted August 7 Yeah Bret says in his book that he hated taking chops from Flair. I mean I can see his point when you're chopping to the point of bloody chests and stuff. 1
zendragon Posted August 7 Posted August 7 (edited) He said at one point that he would only let Flair chop him twice, he didn't like the chops (if it really hurts its not working) and he didn't like that Flair would improvise during Bret's comback. I wish announcers would put over chops, forearms and palm strikes as being safer than throwing a closed fist. I don't think there where many if any chops in his Benoit matches. Bret told him that he'd take a couple but he's not going to be doing a back and forth chop fest where they are hurting each other for real. He told Flair that his strikes look like they hurt but he's not actually hurting anyone. And Bret is right. I'm not against Flair and Garvin chopping the shit out of each other, it was fantastic. I'm not against Gunther. But Bret is right in that his punches and kicks always looked like they were connecting and he didn't have to do chops. 3

I think Bret Hart has the definitive version of nearly every move: Best Sharpshooter of all time, European Uppercut, Suplex, Superplex, DDT, Elbow drop, Bulldog, Hart Attack clothesline, regular clothesline etc. Excellence of Execution is such an apt name for him. 3 hours ago, Niners Fan in CT said: I don't think that's true.
