This Cubs team is ridiculous, but they're still going to need a TOR pitcher if they want a shot at the league championship, let alone a WS. Can't be trying to make it through the postseason with one pitcher who may break at any second (Boyd), another who may or may not be really good (Taillon), another where you don't know what his health is going to be (Shota), and another that may very well be a AAAA pitcher some days and a middle rotation pitcher on others (Brown). But at least Polencia looks like the real deal. 1

I would say its a pretty safe bet that they are gonna be playing Jeimer Candelario at third post all star break (or Nicky Lopez if Candelario is completely washed)
