The Natural Posted June 6 Posted June 6 (edited) 22 hours ago, Dolfan in NYC said: Two belts they had zero chance of losing to anyone but each other... ... it's fixed. Trying to help. C&P from across the board: Kazuchika Omega and Kenny Omega have amazing chemistry. Here's how I rank their matches: 4. Kazuchika Okada vs. Kenny Omega. NJPW Dominion 2017. ****3/4. 3. Kenny Omega vs. Kazuchika Okada. NJPW G1 Climax 2017: Night 18. *****. 2. Kenny Omega vs. Kazuchika Okada. NJPW Dominion 2018. *****. 1. Kazuchika Okada vs. Kenny Omega. NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 11. *****. The record is 2-1-1 with two wins for Kenny Omega, one for Kazuchika Okada and one draw. Kazuchika Omega vs. Kenny Omega V is the match I'm most looking forward to having said the above but expectations need to be kept in check as both are older now. As it's Winner Takes All for the AEW Continental Championship and AEW International Championship, I'm hoping the former goes and the Continental Classic is to become #1 contender for the AEW World Championship. It's similar to the Owen Hart Cup though, however that's for AEW All In billed as AEW's biggest show of the year. I can see Okada/Omega V going 35+. I think 40-44. Past matches: Kenny Omega vs. Kazuchika Okada. NJPW Dominion 2018. 1:04:50. *****. Kazuchika Okada vs. Kenny Omega. NJPW Dominion 2017. 1:00:00. ****3/4. Kazuchika Okada vs. Kenny Omega. NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 11. 46:45. *****. Kenny Omega vs. Kazuchika Okada. NJPW G1 Climax 2017: Night 18. 24:40. *****. After that, I'm most looking forward to Timeless Toni Storm vs. Mercedes Mone for the AEW Women's World Championship. I think It's less likely it'll be for the AEW TBS Championship as well with one Winner Takes All match unless for parity. It's the biggest women's match you can run and the biggest in AEW history. Mercedes Mone is still unbeaten in AEW and I think she'll remain so. I'm hoping Hangman Adam Page ends Jon Moxley's reign of terror as AEW World Champion but I have a bad feeling Tony Khan may extend the agony to AEW WrestleDream and have Darby Allin instead. It'll be the same event the reign of terror started when Mox beat Bryan Danielson there when it should have been Darby Allin instead as AEW World Champion and getting the rub ending the GOAT's full time career. The Natural Posted June 6 Posted June 6 I think we'll get a Stadium Stampede match. I can see Will Ospreay vs. Swerve Strickland III, the rubber match.
hammerva Posted June 12 Posted June 12 I wonder if they will make Omega vs Okada the main event in order to ease how pissed people are going to be when Moxley and Mone win before that. Cause no way Kenny is losing this one 1
Log Posted June 12 Posted June 12 I'm thinking we get Bucks vs. Swerve/Osprey after last night. Makes sense since they've already got three huge singles matches on the show. 1
Lawful Metal Posted June 12 Posted June 12 (edited) Lawful Jr. and I have our tickets to the show but more importantly, we'll be spending All-In weekend at a Farm! Edited June 12 by Lawful Metal 8

Cause no way Kenny is losing this one I don't know that the fanbase could handle it if Mox retains. If he does, then the plan is obviously Darby and TK isn't going to pivot. Which actually makes a lot of sense given his history of not pivoting when the story obviously needs it.

SovietShooter Posted June 13 Posted June 13 14 hours ago, hammerva said: Cause no way Kenny is losing this one I don't know about that. I think the Callis Family is being put in a position to be the top heel group after this show. I can see a scenario where Okada takes the United, Fletcher takes the TNT, and Archer/RPG take the Trios Titles, and Takeshita is the first challenger to Hangman.
hammerva Posted June 13 Posted June 13 If the plan is for Hangman to win the title then yes you can move Okada/Omega off the main event and then who wins is a crap shoot. But if the plan is Moxley to win and since I believe there is no way in hell Mercedes Mone is losing to Toni Storm you need SOMETHING to make people feel good. Unless you want to turn All In to a complete fuck the fans let's get heat show. I guess you can say "well wasn't that Wrestlemania this year" but at least we got Jey Uso winning and Rollins was still in tweener mode.
RazorbladeKiss87 Posted June 13 Posted June 13 That would definitely be a choice if they went all downer finishes. I can't see it. I'm thinking Kenny wins but I'd prefer they give us a happy ending in the Hangman/Mox match. Mercedes could lose to set up a story where she loses everything and rebuilds. The fact that they seem to be building to a Hangman/Swerve teamup makes me feel he's losing, due to Bucks shenanigans.
just drew Posted June 13 Posted June 13 I think Swerve comes down to counter-act Young Bucks interference, maybe screws something up, and accidentally costs Hangman the title. Hangman's big character beat is that he learns to let shit like this go. Idk. Maybe it's too complicated. 2
RazorbladeKiss87 Posted June 13 Posted June 13 I can see that. I was thinking, depending on how much of a bummer show they want to present, that the Bucks beat Will/Swerve, come down to cost Hangman and Swerve comes out to attack them and Hangman/Swerve accidentally bump into each other, turn dramatically to fight and begrudgingly nod at each other. It's not what I personally want but I can see it happening.
Curt McGirt Posted June 13 Posted June 13 It may be for the best that we're doing some active fantasy booking this time instead of just filling the wins in peremptorily. That's what I had in mind but y'all are convincing me otherwise. There are some options here, even Omega/Okada... I think. (The big question I have concerning Omega is who will finally kick out of the Angel, if anyone ever does. This might be a mask-loss situation where Tony coughs up a couple hundred grand, haha.) 1
Craig H Posted June 13 Posted June 13 Again, if your biggest show of the year, your Wrestlemania, for a company that is still young, ends with the same horseshit that we've seen over and over again where the babyface slips on a banana peel or falls for the same interference again against Moxley and Hangman loses, that is a horrific, awful sign for AEW. Hangman is your man. You want to overbook the finish and come out of All In racing ahead towards the future, you do whatever overbooking that is bound to happen, but Will nor Swerve causes Hangman to lose. No. You have a moment where it looks like Swerve may attack Hangman and instead he grabs Hanger by the back of the neck, goes forehead to forehead with the guy, and tells him, "YOU'RE LOSING THIS MATCH! IS THIS HOW YOU WANT IT TO END? GO BEAT THIS MOTHERFUCKER! RIGHT NOW, THIS ISN'T SWERVE'S HOUSE, THIS IS YOUR FUCKIN HOUSE! NOW GET UP AND FINISH THE JOB! COWBOY. SHIT." I've mostly been mulling over why we never get the motivational speech to the face that's losing to propel him to win in wrestling, the "NOW GET UP YOU SON OF A BITCH, BECAUSE MICKEY LOVES YA" or the "Listen to em. That's what you've done. We've come from behind in every game this tournament so far and we can do it again. WE CAN BEAT THESE GUYS" or "This is your time. Their time, is done. It's over. I'm sick and tired of hearing about what a great hockey team the Soviets have. SCREW EM. This is your time, now go out there and take it!" I got my Avengers Endgame moment with Cody. I want my sports movie motivational speech moment with Hangman. It doesn't have to mean those guys are friends or even frenemies, it just means Swerve knows Hangman needs to beat Moxley if AEW is ever going to be right again. 8
Gordi the BJW fan Posted June 14 Posted June 14 (edited) I've said it before (and might say it again) but... What the fuck happened in Tony Khan's life that we have moved from the "Ring of Friendship" "Spark Joy in the Fanbase" "Good Guys Win Through The Power of Support and Trust and Cooperation" gorgeous joyful early days of AEW into this current Ayn Randian hellscape of constant betrayal and attempted murder where the heel groups all seem to have each other's backs (for selfish reasons) but the good guys have to stand alone? Where trying to convince flawed but loveable guys to work together sparks a brawl? Where friendship and trust basically no longer exist? How did we get to the point where a "downer show" seems to be the most likely outcome? In AEW? Spoiler And who the fuck thought KENNY vs OKADA needed EXTRA betrayal and hatred to sell the match? You really truly honestly only needed to announce the damn thing! And that TREMENDOUS video package was in and of itself MORE than enough for any young fools whose pro wrestling memory doesn't extend back seven years (or fools of any age whose wrestling knowledge doesn't extend all the way to Japan). Fuck's sake. Craig H's scenario at least would be a dramatic payoff to at least one thread of this constant misery Werner Herzog's Atlas Shrugged booking... Keeping my fingers crossed Edited June 14 by Gordi the BJW fan
Curt McGirt Posted June 14 Posted June 14 This could mean everything or nothing at all, but: You don't live in America right now, Gordi... you don't live in America. 2

Phantom Lord Posted June 14 Posted June 14 Hangman has to win. I mean I just might be done with AEW if Moxley were to retain somehow. It's almost a given that Toni is losing to Mone, but I just can't see Hangman losing this match. 2

To be fair, if this match had happened at MSG in 2019 like it was supposed to, I think they would’ve gone in a similar direction. Upping the violence and hatred was always the logical next step for their rivalry. You can’t just keep having The Best Wrestling Match Ever over and over again. In fact, it’s probably even more important that there be some additional layers to it now, considering that both guys physically aren’t what they were 7 years ago. 3 1
TheVileOne Posted June 14 Posted June 14 I thought the video package for Okada/Omega was awesome. I don't think adding Don Callis was necessary. 2
NoFistsJustFlips Posted June 14 Posted June 14 It feels like the booking is building towards the same finish as Cody beating Reigns. Escalation of run ins with the babyfaces finally having Hangman's back and legends pitching in to rid the company of the big heel group. Ospreay's been leading the charge. He's out first to counter Yuta interference. Surprise return of Pac. Surprise return of Darby. The Bucks out. Surprise Sting run in. Claudio out. Eddie Kingston surprise return. Gab Kidd out. Swerve out. Stare down with Hangman. Go win this shit back for AEW. Big nod. Swerve moves Hangman out of the way and takes the bullet for him (Mox chairshot or some shit). Mox grabs the briefcase and backs to the corner ready to swing, there's Bryan Danielson up on the apron and takes the briefcase away and cracks Mox. Hangman does the big babyface look around sell as Danielson points to Mox. Ref up. Buckshot Lariat. New champ. Literal climax for the entire audience and everyone watching from home. Locker room is out to celebrate the big win. 2
Craig H Posted June 14 Posted June 14 If Tony got November Rain for OC vs Moxley and the other matches then I’d hope he gets something else other than Machinehead to go through all of the matches. I know Machinehead is like the official song of All In, but this needs an epic video package. I’m also predicting Hangman comes out to his old music again. 1
